"Promised Land Tattoo originally opened in January of 2021 in the Central West End neighborhood of Saint Louis. Due to a fire in June of 2022, we relocated to the beautiful Tower Grove South neighborhood. Come see us for the best tattoos, piercings and body jewelry. We now offer permanent jewelry, as well!"

I saw pat for a tattoo on my knee! He was very patient as we ended up changing the design plans. He ended up drawing on my tattoo to fit the space perfectly. The environment in the shop is very inviting and professional. Whether it's your first tattoo or one of many, I'd definitely recommend Pat and this shop!

Caleb is always an exceptional piercer. This is the second time he has done a piercing for me and as long as I live within driving distance I won't go anywhere else. My first piercing was perfectly done and healed without any issues at all. He is so kind and nice to talk to and really makes you feel at ease, from picking your jewelry to the procedure and everything in between. Even when asking questions outside of appointments he is always happy to help. The studio was spotless, bright, and pleasant. I met the tattoo artist as well and he was very friendly and welcoming. Very thankful to have had such wonderful experiences.

I’ve had three incredible experiences at Promised Land, specifically with Caleb. He could not have made the visits any smoother or more comfortable.
My first visit, I came in with a nose piercing that had gone horribly wrong somewhere else earlier that day. Caleb professionally but directly told me his opinion about next steps, which included taking out the jewelry and letting it heal. He went into the science behind it all and assured me everything would be fine.
I returned a month later to get my nose re-pierced at Promised Land. I almost chickened out when I got there, but Caleb made me feel so comfortable and at home that I decided MAYBE I can do this. He talked me through every single step so expertly that before I knew it, my nose was pierced. Note that this is my second nose piercing, and he was able to line the two holes up beautifully.
When I came back to get the post changed out, I decided to get my conch pierced. Once again, the experience was nearly painless, so professional, and so efficient.
Bottom line: go NO WHERE ELSE for your piercings. Seriously, this guy knows his stuff.
High-quality jewelry, amazing staff, really cool space, and so easy to make an appointment. More than happy to give this place 5 stars…6 if I could.
