Ink Ink Tattoo & Piercing Studio

I got my first tattoo here last weekend and I loved the experience! I love my tattoo, and Nikki did a great job of making me feel comfortable and ease my nerves about getting inked. The atmosphere is wonderful and I will go there for all my future tattoos and piercings!

Nikki did my tats today (07/14/16). Very very pleased with her ability. I noticed a lot of rates for 1s. After reading them, I found they were not from customers but a campaign to smear one of the artist. Anyway they were all very friendly. I brought Nikki my design and she tweaked it. It took about 2.5 hours for the entire work, drawing and then doing the tat...I will go back. My wife has had two tats done there and she loves their work.

These ladies are the best! Their work is flawless, imaginative, unique, and they are always able to give you what you are looking for and more! I would never get a tattoo anywhere else...
The studios are clean, well equipped, and sanitary. The people are fun, knowledgeable, and talented. Don't risk going anywhere else for your tattoo!

Got a tattoo here almost two years ago when they were doing the $15 a word deal. The experience was decent. I recently noticed that one of the letters is fading on my back. I understand that I came during a busy event but it is extremely frustrating that I already have to get the tattoo redone after such a short amount of time. I will not be back.

**Update: I have other tattoos that I got before this one that aren’t faded so the response from management is b.s.

Y'all are complaining about price and quality of work. Then on the other hand y'all are saying "I was there for 3 hours and paid 150 dollar and other places would of charged me 75 bucks for the same tattoo". I would love to see what a 3 hour 75 dollar tattoo would look like. I dont touch anyone for no less then 150 to 200 an hour. So if you was in my chair I would of charged you 600 for 3 hours. Good tattoos cost money poor quality tattoos is cheap. I've personally havent gotten a tattoo here yet but now after reading these comments I may have to go visit Springfield to get a tattoo.

I contacted them wanting a tattoo, I stopped in a month prior to when I was planning on getting the tattoo due to the fact that I needed to turn 16 first. The ladies were nice and I even got a card, I told them I’d contact them later. I contacted them the week of my birthday via email, they responded to this by giving a phone number even tho I had left a phone number myself. Later on when they did not call I decided to take it upon myself to have my father call them whilst on the phone he tried to create an appointment but they insisted they talked to me personally via Facebook messenger. I sent a few photos so that Kristen the owner would know it was me. We said about 2 sentences to each other of which she took at least 10 minutes between each text that only consisted of 5 words. She asked me if a certain time would be alright and I said ok, I then asked a question of which she took hours to even look at and then when she finally did look at it didn’t answer. I kept making excuses for them saying “oh they probably just had a client come in and they got busy” well a few days pass...still no response. These ladies have absolutely no communication skills and I had been really excited to get tattooed here but due to their lack of communication things just fizzled out. I ended up getting my tattoo elsewhere and I suggest that if you want things done here do it all in person or things won’t work out. If you’re just as frustrated with them as I am I recommend Cliff Taylor at Electric Voodoo Tattoo, they were very kind and I got a beautiful tattoo.

Side note: when I said the time was a good time for me I hadn’t even gotten confirmation that the appointment was scheduled, I was left hanging and in the dark.

I have one tattoo from ink ink that I received awhile back. They had really good reviews online at the time and it was just a small traditional tattoo on the back of my arm. I thought when I first got it that it looked OKAY but over time I started to notice how patchy the color was in it and how the lines weren't all even. There are so many amazing artists in Springfield; both female and male. Do not go to this shop.

I had a tattoo touched up here and it was phenomenal!!! Nikki was my artist, but I chatted with Kelsi, the owner, while she worked and overall I felt so welcome. The price was excellent, too. Overall I have never been so satisfied with a tattoo artist or studio.

Went in to get a lobe piercing because one of mine had closed up. I didn't have any wait time even though it was a Saturday! My piercer was really cool and inspired a lot of confidence even though I was nervous. One of my studs ended up falling out that evening, so I went back in and she re-did it for free. I tipped her again because she was so great, even though I' m an in-debt college student. 10/10 would recommend!

I had an amazing experience. This is my fourth tattooo and definitely my best experience so far. Everyone in the shop were extremely friendly and ready to help you. Kristen did my tattoo and it is exactly what I was looking for. I definitely recommend, especially for first timers.
