I have no piercings or tattoos from Living Canvas. It isn't that I don't trust them, or anything negative, I just simply don't have to funds for a tattoo/piercing right now. What I want to compliment them on is how kind they were to me. I called them to ask if I could interview two of their tattoo artists on camera for a project that I had for my journalism class. I gave them extremely late notice, but they still allowed it. The woman who answered the phone was very nice to me over the phone and in person. She had a calmness about her voice that made it easy to talk to her. The two artist we interviewed were more than patient, and more than willing to answer any and all of our questions. The place looked very clean, and all of the customers that came in while I was in there were greeted warmly and treated kindly. When I have the money to get another tattoo I will definitely be going there and asking to have it done by Trent Tucker. To allow to journalism students to interview them on short notice, treat us with respect even though we added no money into their business, have the place very clean, and knowing that their interview wasn't for publication was so impressive to me. They did it out of an act of kindness, very selfess. Very kind people and knowledgeable too. I can't wait to get a tattoo from Living Canvas.

I got my first tattoo at Living Canvas yesterday. I chose Living canvas because the staff was always very nice and helpful, and the place is very clean. Fonzie was my tattoo artist and he was AMAZING. I love how my small tattoo ended up and he kept me at ease by talking me through it the entire time and entertaining me. He was soooo nice and so was the rest of the staff. 10/10 would recommend!!

I had Cameron do my first tattoo. I wanted a realistic gray scale tattoo of a deer. He did an outstanding job the tattoo looks more like a photo than a tattoo. He was very professional and made the 2 hours and 20 minutes go by very fast. Being my first tattoo I wasn't sure what to expect as far as pain. But I can honestly say that I really didn't have pain. Times was a little uncomfortable but not bad. Cameron cut up with me at times he though it was getting uncomfortable. I highly recommend anyone to use Cameron you won't be disappointed.

My daughters and I flew in from California to visit my son, their brother who has terminal cancer. Since we all have and like tattoos we wanted to get one to honor him and remember our visit. We chose Living Canvas because it had four plus stars. My daughter called to set an appointment and told them our story. The tattoo we decided on was a small lotus flower. Just the outline, no color. It took them over an hour to set up and less than ten minutes to complete. They did a horrible job and refused to make it right. Both the tattoo “artist” and the receptionist were unkind, rude and unprofessional. Now that we are back in California we will have to go to a legitimate tattoo artist and have them fixed. They didn’t care that this was something special for our loved one. They didn’t care enough to do a professional job. They didn’t even care enough to be kind. If they read this I just want to say to them “SHAME ON YOU!” I would not have given them even one star but I had to in order to write this review.

I was here on March 5,2020 to get my Tragus repierced. The guy that helped me confirmed that i just needed jewelry, they were still open. He had wonderful customer service and integrity! Thst speaks volumes, anywhere else would have told me i had been repierced and charged for jewelry as well! From the timenof entry to the time i left I had nothing but good, prompt customer service!

Ben, was... Absolutely spectacular. He listened to hear me and created the most stunning work. A mix of stencil and free hand.. his work not only blew my expectations out of the water, but he really captured the style and theme I hoped for. He achieved a GORGEOUS, delicate, antiqued tattoo for me using expert dot shading and the finest lines i've seen in town. 10 Stars, Ben- THANK YOU. Highly highly highly recommend.

Extremely professional, incredibly happy with the work Trent Tucker did and felt I received it at a very fair price. Highly recommend anyone in the Columbia area checking them out!

Wonderful place!! I was nervous to get my first tattoo, but the staff was so great in making sure I understood everything and making sure my tattoo would look good for many, many years. I would definitely come back here for any other tattoo needs!

Set up an appointment in September, emailed the guy named Cameron a few times about a tattoo on my arm. Constantly dodged me and postponed it and it’s now December. Called the shop to get my deposit back, was told it’s non refundable. Worst customer service and their artists clearly don’t care about their reputation. So be careful, you’ll wind up $50 down and still be without a tattoo.

First time getting a tattoo, I came in with an idea and Roo helped me out, was very professional. He ended up altering my design, but it was definitely for the better because of parts of my design that wouldn't have been feasible, and was also willing to draw it up a couple different ways. Nice guy, clean place, was a great experience overall! I'd definitely recommend!
