If youโre looking for a piercing, I HIGHLY recommend McKenna! She performed an EXCEPTIONAL service while providing emotional support along the way. I was a little anxious to start and she made me feel so comfortable ! Not only that, but she did an amazing piercing on me. Super quick, done correctly and at an affordable price too. Definitely recommending her to all my friends!!

Nick was absolutely amazing! I came in as a walk-in for my first tattoo on my 18th, he was super considerate during the tattoo and helped settle my nerves. the work turned out better then I imagined, and at a great price too! I canโt recommend nick or living canvas enough, i got a nose piercing here a couple years ago and it also was fantastic. Iโve truly only had good experiences.

My Fiancรฉ and I came in to get tattoos and our artist was Nick and he was phenomenal. He gave us exactly what we wanted and he was super supportive and helped us through the process of decision making. It was a great experience for our first time at Living Canvas and we canโt wait to get more artwork done by Nick. Thanks again!

Absolutely horrible interaction with the kilted piercer yesterday. Just gross behavior, couldnโt get a straight answer as to who the โownerโ was from anybody there. Total run around trying to get broken earrings taken care of/refunded or credited. Asked to confirm the price because I believe I was charged the wrong price. Upon hearing that request he threw me out of the shop. LOUD too. โGET OUTโ incredibly irate, red all over. Pacing Yelling โyou accuse me of over charging youโ. Scariest when he charged out the door behind me. Do what yโall want, but if you ever have a problem this outcome is a real possibility. There are other places you can go to spend your money and treat yourself. My opinion, he should not be interacting with the general public.

My mom is 72 yrs old and went to get her ears re-pierced. They treated her with respect and kindness. She got what she wanted. The people are great at doing their jobs. Highly recommend them.

Got my belly button pierced almost a year ago. Very happy with it and how friendly the piercers were. Iโve gone in a couple time with small concerns with how it was healing and they are always happy to take a look and ease my concerns!

The process was rushed and attention to detail was lack luster. When questions were asked they were met with annoyance and lack of interest in the tattoo or process. When asked if the exclamation, as included on the signature, and for sizing changes there was frustration to have to change and when asked again about exclamation point it was noted that it was the same and would be fine when tattooed. As a non-expensive tattoo it might not have meant a lot to the artist but meant a great deal to us. The exclamation mark was obviously hand added by artist and not my motherโs script and also many pieces of the signature not attentively done. The experience has made an already difficult loss/grieving include additional angst. Even the artistโs add of exclamation is different on my sisterโs. Really disappointed as Iโve had friends get incredible work here.

Pete did an excellent job on my lower forearm tattoo! I'll definitely be back for more ink! Keep up the great work, LC!

Roxane was amazing from start to finish. She did an amazing job designing my piece based on the concept I asked for. The finished product turned out so beautiful and I couldn't be happier!

Pros and Cons
First off their customer service is lacking. I understand it's a tattoo and piercing parlor, but the time of gruff angry tattoo artists is over. There is no reason to be short with your customers when they are about to commit to something so permanent. I can't imagine getting a tattoo here because I would be worried about getting run over.
Second, the piercing I got was done very well. I got my nose done, and my friend got her helix done. I felt like I kinda had to be pushy about placement, but everything was very clean and I wasn't worried about infection or accidents occurring.
Lastly, getting the jewelry swapped out we waited a lonnnng time for the piercer to come in. Over the phone we were told we could just walk in after 3, but upon getting there we had to wait an hour. People at the front desk are always kinda meh attitude wise... granted this is Columbia lol. But the biggest thing that left me aggravated was that the piercer scraped up my nose while changing my stud to a ring. I winced in pain and mentioned my discomfort, but he scoffed at me and told me it was "just a part of it". Bro I've sat under the needle for 30 hours all together. My leg sleeve was two 7 hour sessions and a 5. I know that pain is a part of these types of things, but the stud had been in for almost 6 months before being changed. He didn't trust me, and upon walking away with a bloody nose I was later able to feel the scabs around my piercing. He clamped the skin and ripped out chunks of it. Honestly, that topped the cake for me.
I wouldn't recommend them too much. I will be traveling for any future piercings or tats, but I did before. I would recommend Bad Donkey Tattoo on Lake Of the Ozarks. Ask for Mitch ;) they don't do piercings to my knowledge though.
