Butch's Tattoo and Body Piercing

Got a Monroe piercing done. Was just a walk-in, and only had to wait maybe 15 min or so. Andy was super quick, clean, and professional. I was a little nervous but he made the process go by with so much ease! I was impressed. Would definitely come back.

UPDATE: Came in for a daith on my right ear. Had to wait a little bit but so worth it, and there's good reason behind it!! Andy is hands down the best piercer out there!! He makes sure you're feeling okay from start to finish, and all the time in between. Even though I was super nervous he made me feel relaxed right away. Great selection of jewelry too. Safe to say I will keep getting my piercings done here!!!

I just moved to Blue Springs from Columbia and was looking for a good piercer. I got my tragus piercing in each ear and my nose ring changed out. Andy was very nice and did a great job! I highly recommend him! Very reasonable pricing too! I will be back. Go see Andy!

I have had tattoos done by three different artists here. Honestly, I would trust anyone at Butches to do my tattoos. They employ very talented artist. On top of that, everyone in the shop is very friendly and helpful. They will take your vision and make it better than you imagined! This is the only place I will go and honestly, have an appointment tomorrow! 😍

Went in for a walk in, and felt immediately welcome! Clean shop with professional and kind artists. I was lucky enough to work with Tim on some script above my elbow and its absolutely beautiful, easily my favorite piece I've ever gotten. I definitely plan on returning and working with Tim on more work in the future and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area looking for a great tattoo. Clean, professional, welcoming, quick, and incredible work.

I've known Butch for some years now through a hobby we share, we had made a trade years ago and a small tattoo was part of that trade. Fast forward about 5 years and butch reminded me to come get it done. That's character right there, how many people in today's world would remind someone of something owed from five years prior?... helluva good guy move!
For the work itself, I'm thoroughly impressed! He took a flat, scanned internet image and brought it to life as more than just a tattoo of a flat logo or picture. Butch is definitely a tattoo artist, not just someone that does tattoo's.
The shop, clean and professional as you would expect. The few other artists in shop while I was there are what I would look for as employees with my business. Friendly, courteous, and seem like they would turn you away before ever trying to push something on you just for the sale.
I'm on the kansas side and will happily drive clear across town again on my next tattoo.

Went in for two piercings. Andy is just the best! I will definitely be back to see him for a tattoo removal. Then a replacement for it. Love this place.
Update: Andy is the best for piercings. Have had two more and the tattoo removal is starting off fabulously. All of the guys I've talked to have been totally up front about whatever I've asked about. They go above and beyond to tell you the big picture rather than just inking on you.

Stopped in to get my daughter's ears pierced. It's a lot more challenging of a task than I expected. State of Missouri requires her to have a picture ID and a birth certificate. Some establishments won't pierce ears for a 14 year old. Butch's does and I can't offer a higher recommendation.

We got there about 15 minutes before they close and could very easily Been Told we were too late. Not at Butch's. The guys were cool and gave us our paperwork to fill out and got to us just as soon as they were finished with the customer in front of us.

As a parent you want to know that the environment is clean and the materials used will be sterile. That's exactly what we found at Butch's. All the equipment was opened from sterile bags in front of us and he showed us where he wiped all the surfaces down with disinfectant before we came in.

The piercing itself went very smooth and 6 weeks later my daughter is very happy with the results.

Final comment is on cost. Butch's was very reasonable. I had shopped other piercing establishments in town who were asking for nearly twice what Butch's charged. Made it easy for me to give the guy a nice tip.

Will definitely be back if she needs another one and would recommend it to all of our friends and family.

I've been going to Butch's for over a decade now. I've experimented with other shops as well and have yet to find one with the talent Butch's has to offer. Andy and Josh are both incredible and are all around easy to get along with. I always feel comfortable coming in and always leave eager to come back!
