got my momβs birthday done by Travis on the back of my leg. literally amazing! i cannot wait to surprise her with this next weekend for mothers days.
he was incredibly helpful with helping me decide what exactly i wanted. he also didnβt make me feel bad for changing something in his original design.
very quick, very clean, & one of the best experiences iβve had β€οΈ

Had an appointment with Jeannie for a larger tattoo on my arm. She agreed to it, pushed it out another two weeks from originally scheduling it. 2 days before the tattoo she messaged me and canceled and told me to find a new artist. Didnβt even apologize. I waited for this for 2 months and she could have canceled any time, but literally did it right before the apt. She didnβt even save the time slot for me for another tattoo option. And then ignored me when I messaged back. Super unprofessional.

Always an amazing experience, Amy's tattoo skills are beyond exceptional. The staff are all talented and leave a great atmosphere, the shop is on point with covid safety and cleanliness too! Highly recommend coming here for any of your tattoo needs!

Got a tattoo here recently. Iβm sure some of their artists are different than others. I paid a very reasonable price for a nice tattoo. The artist sent the design the night before my appointment, which is standard most places (for many reasons which I understand). My only issue is that I felt awkward and uncomfortable in the shop. I just was not made to feel welcome. It was a cold unfriendly experience with no human connection to the artist or anyone else there. For that reason I would not return and have gone elsewhere for more work.

Best shop in the cities by far. Great artists, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I always get tattooed by Greg, and he's a fantastic artist and always makes me feel comfortable when I'm in the chair. The other artist are great too and it has a very collaborative feel. The prices are fair and reasonable and I'm always made to feel comfortable at every step of the process. I have been going to this shop for 8 years, and will keep bringing my ideas there to be stamped onto my skin. Thank you Dinkytown Tattoo!

You walk into tattoo nostalgia when you walk into this amazing shop. Amazing artists and comforting surroundings. Personalized spaces for each artist. Very clean and well kept, as someone who suffers from OCD I have no worries coming to this place! Along with the ravishing decor and art displayed amongst the building, the artists are just as amazing. Brooke is my go-to always. Iβve never left her chair with any regrets or uncertainty about my art. She has stunning work all around and is very gentle/ considerate of her clients. Iβm always itching to make another appointment. I give this place a whole hearted five stars and I canβt wait to get back there! π

Posting again since my previous review was removed without reply. I went here to get a tattoo and paid an advance and booked an appointment. But I never got to see the design and when I called and asked the artist (Ian Richards) said heβll have it ready two days before the appointment, I called again two days and I was told Iβll only see it on the day (after me specifically asking to see the design before the appointment so I can make changes, since it was gonna be on my skin forever). He said he canβt show them and canceled my appointment two days before. I wonder if he ever worked on the sketches. Only go there if youβre getting a preset design/ donβt pay an advance till you see the design.
I donβt know about the other artists, this was my experience with Ian Richards.

Dinkytown isn't my normal tattoo shop, but I went in because my usual artist didn't feel that his hands would be small enough to tattoo my knuckles. I was in and out in a matter of twenty minutes. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. As someone who has done this many times, it was definitely one of my better experiences. Jeannie took great care in the design and placement of my tattoos, and made sure they would be perfect. She clearly takes great pride in her tattoos which is evident in her portfolio and her own body art. As far as price, for the skill level and expertise of the artists, the higher price point is absolutely appropriate, and I was willing to pay more for the care and attention to detail they put into their work.

My boys went there and were able to just walk in and get their artwork immediately. They felt at home the entire time.
