they did an AMAZING job!!! Emily did a great job with my tongue piercing and Nef did an absolutely beautiful job doing my tattoo!! They’re all so friendly and definitely will be coming back for more art. All are very talented!!!

As a first-timer for tattoos, and someone who was just passing by the studio, I had an excellent experience here. Place was clean, employees were some of the nicest artists I've ever had (I've had multiple piercings at multiple locations), and the artist (I had Joshua) took his time to give me exactly what I asked for at a reasonable price. Especially since I came with three other people who wanted tats. Highly highly recommend these guys. They care about their work and their ethic, and it shows.

Such an amazing experience! My mom and I were getting matching flip flop tattoos and they came out so beautifully (D was our artist! He was amazing!) D suggested some different things for our tattoo to make it that much better (which we highly appreciated! It had to do with shading colors into one another, something we had not thought about originally.) We also got into a conversation about a friend who is terminally ill and how his favorite superhero is ironman. It turned out that one of the artists (I am so sad I didn't catch his name!) had made a beautiful piece of artwork of Iron Man and allowed us to take the picture for our terminally ill friend! (Our friend absolutely LOVED it!) The artists were so kind, fun, and engaging while we were in there. I was nervous about passing out, but they made me feel super comfortable in the room! Such an amazing experience, I only have good things to say about this place! Will definitely be returning to the Black Pearl to get my next tattoos!

Just got my second tattoo today done by Alika, it came out beautiful! He even added a few details to it that made it even better than I originally wanted, had me sitting there for 4 hours! Time flew by so fast it didn’t even seem that long, he’s really friendly and makes you feel comfortable and welcome while sitting in that chair😁

My husband and I got tattoos and the artists were amazing. I had Nef and my husband had Chris. Both artists were personable, easy to talk to and gave us a stellar tattoo experience. We will be returning for future tattoos and highly recommend black pearl tattoo studio

My boyfriend and I stopped in to get tattoos and they were able to squeeze us in without making an appointment. The receptionist was so friendly and polite. Nef was amazing! He did exactly what we asked for and was so easy to talk to. We would both make the trip from central mass to see him again!!!

Went in today to get some help changing my septum ring I’d been having trouble with. The piercer was very sweet and courteous and helped me out - even informed me that I was originally pierced in the wrong spot, which I wasn’t aware of. Definitely recommend even just for something quick like this!!

I got an amazing tattoo from Alika Travassos, I couldn’t be happier with the result of it! I came over from Nantucket to have it done, and he made me feel right at home, and was an amazing artist!!! Will definitely be going back in the future!

Went in with my best friend of 20 years to get matching tattoos. We were just walk ins after leaving a prior shop that could not perform work same day. Waited about 45 minutes for artists to free up and they sketched up what we wanted. I was tattooed by Derrell. Was a great just chill experience. I love the work and would highly recommend this place. I'll be coming back to get more work done by Derrell 100%. Mind you I live in North Providence RI, willing to make the trip past hundreds of shops to go back there.
