Great and friendly shop. Had Josh Corlin as my artist, and he met and then exceeded every expectation. I can't recommend this shop and Josh enough.

Their ratings are absolutely legit. Had my first tattoo done by Shawn and couldn't of asked for a better experience. He was easy to communicate with, detail orientated, and overall just an easy person to talk to. The rest of the staff were also very nice and encouraging. Would recommend to anyone.

This shop is the real deal. I scheduled an appointment for some ink for a trip to NOLA with Idle Hands. Was a bit concerned about getting another out of town tat after a not so great experience in San Diego. Shawn was extremely easy to communicate with, understood what I wanted, and gave me a great piece of art. Very reasonable on price. I'll be hitting Idle Hands on my next trip fo sho.

Shawn is a a great guy who does amazing work at a really reasonable price. I've gotten my fair share of tattoos at a number of shops and this was one of the best; I couldn't recommend Shawn and Idle Hands enough.

The gentlemen who work there are amazing! They really strive to make sure you are happy with your tattoo. I had the pleasure of working with Flex (owner) who took time to listen to me and create a custom design to my liking. He gave great advice regarding placement on my wrist and was extremely patient and thoughtful throughout the process. They have high ratings because they do quality work all around. We came to town to celebrate our friend’s 30th birthday, and we wanted tattoos to remember the trip, Idle Hands Tattoo was highly rated online, and now I know why. We arrived at the shop and instantly felt welcome. Josh and Flex are two of the most professional tattoo artists I have ever met. We told them what we wanted and they made it happen, and even worked with us to schedule times for our friends to come back later that night. I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience, and each tattoo we got is AMAZING!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I are down for the first time in New Orleans and wanted to get a tattoo while we were here. Start to finish, this was a great experience. Flex was super responsive answering all my questions within a couple hours of when I reached out. It was super clean inside the shop and both he and Shawn were I Incredibly professional and super personable. They made this such a great and fun experience for both of us (this was my boyfriend’s first tattoo!) and we can’t recommend them highly enough. The finished product for both of us was 10 times better than what we even imagined - Flex did mine and Shawn did my boyfriend’s. We will most definitely be going back on our next trip here if they can fit us in!
