I had a great time at Hell or High Water. I came in asking about a couple ideas and Mecca talked up Andy, making me comfortable in any choice I had to make. I got a really clean black and grey tat of No Face (Miyazaki) and had a chill conversation with Andy while he did it. Can't wait to come back the next time I come to Nola. This will be a lovely momento of my first visit though!

Not only was the shop perfectly clean, it was also decorated with the coolest art. Mecca did my tattoo coverup, and I couldn’t be happier with how it ended up. She was a great conversationalist, and her tattoo skills are unbelievable. I felt very taken care of, and I will recommend her to any and all who want tattoos!

I am beyond grateful for Mecca's incredible customer service during my brief time at Hell or High Water Tattoo Shop. My gratitude for their artistic vision is a poem I wish I could write. Poetry hides in the very fabric that my new tattoo is composed of. I also wanted to share that my day would not have been as special without Mecca's beautiful reference (because I came into the shop empty-handed), their easy-going nature (the tattoo was 100% their idea), and their gentle tattooing ( Really it did not hurt). I was only in New Orleans for a few days, but I walked away with an incredible tattoo!!!
