Been following Karls work for 5 years and I finally set up an appointment with him. Awesome experience, Karl is the man, only maybe beaten by Kalvins good looks. This image is just the start of a sleeve, and from time wizard to the 2 wolves it was fun to work with Karl and watch him hand draw the wolves from many reference images he also drew up. Amazing artist and can’t wait to get back there.

Karl did a great job! I was recommended by a friend and was impressed. I won't be going back to any other studio, Karl will definitely be doing my tattoos from now on. Showing off his work even before completion impressed several friends who are going to seek out his work as well. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Great artist and tattoo work clearly skillful.

I got tattooed by the guest spot here, but the entire atmosphere at this shop was fantastic. Every single employee was extremely fun to talk to and it really made the whole experience that much better. On top of great people, the place was extremely clean, as well as the artists being extremely skilled at their craft. Would highly recommend this shop to everyone!

Got my tattoo done by Karl and he had multiple reference photos to use and used elements of every photo to make my tattoo unique. Cool guy and his attention to detail was amazing.

Karl is a great artist but I would STRONGLY consider not using him as he make promises he can't fulfill and ditches you with half done tattoo after back and forth x 6 months and $300 tip!!! Sat for 7.5 hours with 1 bathroom break and no conversation. CAN NOT RECCOMEND!

Best tattoo experience to date! Went in for first time great atmosphere and fun vibe. Started off anime leg sleeve with Kalvin, love the work he’s done. Kalvin took my ideas and created beautifully drawn art with even more amazing execution. And Karl (the other artist) was very welcoming and hospitable as well. Both made the process as painless as possible with good banter and tv to watch. Haha Definitely recommend this shop for great art work and awesome hospitality!

Karl made a custom tattoo for me which was essentially a Heikegani crab with a video game character’s face on the shell (Thane Krios). I tend to be super squirmish when getting a tattoo but Karl was so patient and cool the whole time. I love the final product as well. I have been getting so many complements on the tattoo from complete strangers! My wife even complemented the tattoo and called it a work of art! I may even consider flying out to Iowa just to get tattooed by him in the future (I’m from the DMV area)

I live 2 hours away and am surrounded by many artists but still choose to make the drive because there’s some level of trust that goes into letting someone put a permanent marking on you. Karl does amazing work, I’ve been going to him for 10 plus years. Highly recommend. The shop is very nice and comfortable!

The owner Karl is an amazing artist, great hospitality, clean environment, a d did I mention great all around person. Took his time on my tattoo, asked if I wanted breaks, and cared about my opinion. All around great place, highly recommend. Great place!!!!
