Genuine is a great shop - the only shop my husband and I will use in Bloomington. All the artists are great. Zanna is AMAZING. She did a large arm piece for me and I can't leave my house without getting mad compliments. If you're looking for high quality work worth every dollar you gotta go see them before you make a permanent mistake somewhere else!

Pricey. $60 for a nose piercing that I could have gotten done for $25 @ one of several other places. Shop around.

Zeke was wonderful! He was super funny and made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. I totally recommend this especially if your getting a belly button piercing for the first time.

Little blues is way more professional and 100 times more clean. My sister just got an amazing tattoo from Pnut. Also way more friendly than the guy at genuine tattoo.

My husband and I came to Genuine Tattoo Co and Dave because we had heard that they were supposedly a well respected shop in Bloomington, IN. We had gone to that shop on recommendations from friends and reviews on the internet, however, we are very displeased with the final result and have actually just had the tattoos re-done by a real artist in Ellettsville. We changed our initial design for wedding ring tattoos based on the suggestions of, and 'expertise' of, Dave as we felt we should respect his knowledge and experience. But after the tattoos had healed we were not at all happy with the final product. We went back to that shop twice in an attempt to have them fix the work and they refused. Additionally, the owner actually refused to talk to us at all.
If you care what is going to be on your body for the rest of your life go somewhere else, preferably the shop in Ellettsville!

Shannon was extremely professional, caring, and one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He was clear with the instructions and comforted me through the whole process. The tattoo came out perfectly and I could not be happier.

My wife and I both have very small/easy tattoos from here. Took like 15 minutes, but they treated us well, took time to explain things, and concentrated on it as if it were something more complicated than it is. I'm not a "tattoo person," but if I get another, I'd go back to Genuine.

Awesome place. I went to get a pretty angry piercing removed (that I had gotten at another piercer), and they were so kind and patient through it all (even through my tears). It was obvious that Dave was extremely knowledgeable and had dealt with every kind of clientele. Would definitely go back for any future business.
