Steel Rod Tattoo

Called in at 8:03PM (they closed at 9) and asked if they had time to do a nose piercing. A guy answered “Absolutely. Come on in.” Super friendly from the start. Got there about ten minutes later and Richie got me started on paperwork and he got things set up. He was friendly, efficient and gave his opinion in a professional manner (great advice too). Great placement, quick piercing with minimal pain and didn’t even bleed! Great pricing too. While I was there I asked about a tattoo and he was stoked about my idea and gave some advice. I definitely will be back for my tattoo.

Salt & Pepper was amazing and made me feel comfortable during my nose piercing! I also got two tattoos by Bex! Also very professional with me and did an amazing job. Definitely coming back for any other work I want done!!

I live 6 min away went to get my nipples pierced I gave them a call asked questions and they gave me answers which was helpful! I read the good reviews so I gave the place a try for the first time ! I got pierced the same day !! Which was really nice ,the guy was really nice and knew what he was doing .I would go back to them !😌

Best ink of my life. My nose piercing was painless but they out shine in ink. Holler at Dave for your favorite characters and Eric for your animals

I called about a simple touchup job on a tattoo I had previously that was fading a little, but I will tell you- I would never go to this place. and I don’t recommend it either. I didn’t make it past the phone call without being treated rudely and was hung up on multiple times. The wannabe Paris Hilton princess they have answering the phones needs to realize she isn’t Paris— it’s a business. And you just lost. And ruined it for the rest of them. She was so putrid I would never get anything done there.

I had a great time getting my helix double pierced yesterday! They also did really awesome job piercing my girlfriends nipps! The staff is really nice and down to earth, and hilarious! The place is really clean and neat! All around professional establishment, and they know their stuff! Thank you Steel Rod 10/10 recommend!!

Jimmy did an awesome job piercing 2 adults and 1 minor! He was great at making our 9 year old feel comfortable and not so nervous about getting her ears pierced. He got all of us in and out in less than an hour and was very professional and calming.

I have been coming here for years and won’t go anywhere else!!! I had 4 of my piercings done in the last couple of months by Jimmy and he is freaking awesome!!! I’m going back to get another piercing done and yes, Jimmy will be doing it. Absolutely love this shop. I’ve had a tattoo done here as well by Richie and he did an amazing job. So I HIGHLY recommend this place for piercings and tattoos!!!!

My girlfriend went here on Friday the 13th for a nose piercing special and had a terrible experience. First the jewelry was loose in a drawer and then placed on a paper towel and sprayed with something; not sterile. My girlfriend was also apprehensive about the placement and the guy "Salt and Pepper" just ended up piercing it anyway in a place she wasn't happy with, at a weird angle. Third, the price listed in the ad was $25 but she ended up with a $31 total plus a tip.

Now almost 3 weeks later, after taking care of the piercing diligently, shes had a different piercing shop recommend she take it out as it's swolen and infected.

We expected better since this place seems to be highly rated, but our experience was awful.

Acted like they didn't have the time to do a piercing while 4 people stand around and talked. ****Edit **** was contacted by owner after posting review offered discount to return to the shop. Whole thing was we waited 20 minutes to find out they couldn't get it done. Walked in another shop and had it done in 5 minutes. Not worth making a appointment if they can not do the service.
