I got my septum pierced here by Roger. After a full week the sharp pain hadn’t gone away, and that’s when I realized it was pierced wrong. The left side was completely in my cartilage, not in the “sweet spot” where it is supposed to be. I do not understand how someone with 20 years of piercing experience can mess up in such a sloppy way. I asked for a refund, but I was rudely denied. I would give this place a zero if I could. do NOT come here.

I have three tattoos done by Jason Lee. I am very pleased with the tattoos and experience at Newage. I stop in to see the new location after donating blood today. The new place looks amazing. I will be back to schedule another tattoo soon.

I was told this was the best place in town for piercings and read all the reviews before going to get my ears pierced in February. I had heard that Roger was a “funny” and “unique” guy. While I know he did a good piercing job, I did not enjoy my experience. He talked down to me the whole time and lectured me about my “fake nickel allergy” and his jokey responses to my serious questions about after care weren’t appropriate. I felt belittled the entire time by him. I have had other piercing experiences with male piercers that were respectful and professional. This experience wasn’t one of them and I wasn’t comfortable. I have been told by many customers that you just “have to deal with his personality” because he’s the best. That is unacceptable for any customer to have to deal with rude and patronizing behavior just because someone does good work. I will not be returning to Roger to get future piercings, I will gladly go elsewhere.

I walked in and was greeted within seconds by Roger. I did not have an appointment. He took my ID, had me fill out the paperwork, and took me back to his piercing room. Roger was very friendly, funny, and personable. He was quick but definitely wasn’t rushing anything. He pierced my nose, explained the aftercare and handed me a paper with care instructions as well. I was very nervous to get my nose pierced and I’m glad I went to Roger. Would definitely recommend him for anyone wanting to get their nose pierced!
