Kunce Tattoo

I looked through Modestas portfolio and his worked looked amazingaonindexided that while he was expensive to book him because I wanted to pay for an amazing piece of work. My appointment was scheduled for 11, I arrived 5 minutes early and he had not even set up his station so I had to wait 20 minutes. I told him I wanted a flag that looked like stone, which was emailed months in advance. He took 20 minutes looking for the flag and when he was designing it I told him what I would like to alter and he told me I needed to come in with exactly what I wanted and had his assistant finish the design. I thought that was totally unprofessional. There were no creative ideas, he literally copy and pasted what his assistant did. Modestas was not personably as he didn’t talk to me for the whole 5 hours and the quality of his work looked like he was not interested in putting in the work because the tattoo is so subpar that It wasn’t worth half of the $1,600 he charged for the piece. I would not recommend him for his work. Studio is very nice and clean and his assistant was super friendly.

I really wish I could give Yulia a million stars. My expectations were completely exceeded. I got a tattoo from her recently to celebrate my sobriety, and she took my idea and made it amazing. It’s the most beautiful piece of artwork I’ve ever seen and I get to have it on my body! I will be returning for more tattoos in the future! Thank you Yulia!!!!

Paid almost 1k for a 5x5 tattoo that was just outlines, no color, no detail and from a green artist. Shading was added when it wasn't asked for or discussed. Would have rated lower but the artist was kind.

This shop is the best! All the artists are so nice and it doesn't even look like a tattoo shop, more like an art gallery. We really loved getting our first tattoos here with Andres!

My experience with PAVA at kunce tattoo was amazing ! He produced an amazing tattoo that I love. The energy in the shop is very welcoming, and pava is very easy going and talented as well. I will definitely be coming back for more ✊ 10/10

To say the owner Modestas is unbelievably talented is an understatement. I had an idea for what I wanted to get but wasn’t sure how to exactly verbalize it. I told him my idea and he went on photoshop and was basically an artistic wizard. He was super patient and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, which was refreshing and so NICE! I was really unsure about placement and he took the time to get it exactly where I wanted it. My preI looked him up before I booked and I was blown away by his classical paintings. He is clearly an elite artist and well rounded in different mediums. If you are lucky enough to have him accept your project, go! Seriously.

Kunce Tattoo is a beautiful, pristine studio. Mod and Andres are very professional and do such individualized work! We were so happy with our experience with Andres.

Andres was an awesome artist and did exactly what we asked for. He was really kind and took his time with us. The place is really clean and modern. Shannon was very flexible in scheduling and helpful in answering our questions as well. I would highly recommend this place.

Hands down ! Best tattoo artist in Chicago if not in all United States !
His knowledge is beyond words. He is very talented and trendy. I have 6 tattoes from him . His studio is stunning and he serves high quality coffee.

It was nice just pricy, took really long, and there was tension with artist and how I wanted it done when I was the one paying for it $500 later I’m (kinda)satisfied didn’t heal the best either ofc plus they never got back to me about getting a touch up which the original artist wouldn’t even agree to do so have to find another artist now to touch up work that isn’t there’s and pay a fortune now because it needs touched up
