Had a walk-in flash piece done by Brandon and he and the front desk workers were so cool and friendly. Didn't feel neither rushed nor neglected even amongst a rush of other walk-ins. Definitely coming back for more flash pieces if not a larger original piece.

Kevin Leary is the absolute best tattoo artist, hands down. He did a Coraline half sleeve for me and it looks amazing. Very cool guy, would suggest him and this shop to anyone looking for quality!!!

Been tattooed here multiple times. Some custom stuff I requested from specific artists (Matt Beatdown and Mario Desa), some flash off the walls, some old flash from other artists from long ago I brought in myself. Came here to get tattooed by the pros and left 100% happy each time. Was only turned away once simply because
no artist there felt they could give me what I wanted. No harm no foul, if they dont feel their shop is the best fit for the work you want that particular day, I guess they’ll tell you straight up, no BS. Which you gotta respect !

My friend and I went here on a whim to get our first ever tattoos done. The front desk boy was awesome, plus Erik and Brandon were better than we could hope for! I had Brandon and he was super chatty and friendly the whole time, answered all my questions, and also gave me great insight into the tattooing world. 15/10 would do again, perfect place to get a first tattoo

My best friend and I are here to visit and wanted to get matching tattoos together. Neither of us had any tattoos before this and we had worries. We saw Great Lakes on google and it was close to where we were staying so we walked in we immediately were talked to about what we wanted, they got it drawn up we signed some papers, and they started tattooing us in 20 minutes. Brandon was our guy and he was nothing but patient with because we wanted to make sure it was just right. He did an excellent job and was a very nice guy. 10/10 reccomend this place!

Absolutely love this place! Hubby and I were walk-ins (only half impulsive) and Great Lakes was amazing. We both have a few tattoos already and wanted to add a little something- well, in my case, a bigger something. Erik is super talented and incredibly kind. We will definitely return!

It was such a GREAT experience and i ABSoLUTLEY love my tattoo! My only issue is that Nick didn’t use a wet cloth to wipe away excess ink and only used a dry paper towel which gave me pretty bad rug burn. I wish i had said something, but i didn’t really notice it until the end of the tattoo! Highly recommend though! So professional, kind and just super well rounded.
