Ink Slaves Tattoo

Absolute best tattoo shop I have ever been to! Elexsia was phenomenal and gave an amazing tattoo. Also very honest, attentive to detail, and kind. Absolutely amazingly clean and professional shop. Top notch equipment, everything!

I came in here once and tried to get an appointment set up and the guy was 4+ months backed up. His work looks amazing but who wants to wait 4 months when another shop will tattoo me every week or two. I can't speak for the other artists, maybe they are not as backed up who knows.

Maybe I'll change my rating once I can actually get a tattoo here in this decade. They must do good work if they're that backed up or they only work seldemly but I'm not one to wait that long in-between sessions.

If your looking to get tattooed quickly and often, I wouldn't come here. But on a good note the work looks very impressive if you think it's worth the wait....

Chris tattoos me on a regular basis and is an absolutely amazing artist.
The shop is a very clean, sterile environment and fun to be around while getting tattooed.
All of the artists that work at Ink Slaves are very talented and follow any and all safety precautions and sanitation protocols.
I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get work done in a clean, professional environment.

I’ve gotten a few tattoos done around the valley but haven’t found an artist that really stuck out to me until I met Kolby. He’s fantastic and loves all the ideas I throw at him. Very accommodating and easy to get along with! His artwork is amazing, I literally recommend him to everyone. The shop itself is awesome and kept very clean, everyone is very friendly and most importantly they all joke around with the clients! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

I came in for a semi large colored piece. I showed up 5min early to be courteous, which miffed the artist as he did not want to begin until our exact agreed upon time. When he finished my stencil I had been waiting awhile, and I asked him to make a couple small changes, he got huffy and took several minutes to fix it. When he brought it back his “changes” were sloppy and I asked if that’s actually what the line work would resemble, he said no it’s a loose reference for him.
The tattoo itself took all day, the line work is scratchy and already tough to understand and it’s a fairly new piece. Several areas of the tattoo make little sense, are improperly colored, and overall the tattoo looks aged by several years already. Awkward areas of the line work are actually missing, and portions of the tattoo that should be colored are not colored... I’m embarrassed to show this tattoo to people because of the comments I’ve gotten. Many of the lines aren’t legible and the quality of the work changes drastically from the top to the bottom of the tattoo.
I paid a lot of money for a tattoo that I’m embarrassed to even show people, and Ive emailed the artist twice now and have not gotten any response regarding touch ups, which is something I paid for on my original visit.
I should have walked out as soon as the artist became unhappy about me not liking his outline. I now have to pay to have a more professional artist try to rework this tattoo, and hopefully he can make it into something that I can deal with being on my body the rest of my life. If you come here, do not get tattooed by David.

My sisters and I all went in for tattoos together. We had a great time. The shop is really beautiful. Staff are fun and the artwork was fantastic. Special thanks to Kenny and David who did our tattoos for us. They all turned out beautifully.

My Girlfriend and I were walk in and the tattoos came out absolutely amazing! Coolest group of people and made the experience incredible! I will definitely fly from AZ back to Ink Slaves for my next piece! Salome has great line work and was extremely pleasant to work with!

Got my first big tattoo with Chris last week. Spent over 16 hours there in two days so got to hear and see a lot and gotta say.....everyone in there is great. The place is professional, clean, and the whole crew is genuine, fun, and insanely talented. Chris' work is amazing, and you can tell he truly loves and takes pride in his work. Will definitely be going back for more ink.

This is probably the best tattoo shop in the Treasure Valley. I searched really hard trying to find the very best artists and I believe I found a very good one with Chris Jansen. I'll let the picture talk for itself that dude is a master

Riley was my lovely tattoo artist! she was new but she was amazing. the shop was hands down the nicest shop i have ever seen in boise. the artists were all very personable and fun to talk to as well!
