Skin Factory Tattoo Maui

I have gotten tattoos before so I’ve been in a few shops. This one and the guys that were working changed the game to me. My friend was the one getting tattooed. Her first tattoo. She was going through the stressed out motions and they helped by giving her an idea of what it would look like, telling her to take her time, played her favorite music while she got tattooed because she said it was hurting and she needed a distraction. The shop had sick artwork that all the tattooists made themselves. They have cool sample photo books on the counter to look through. Just good vibes at this shop overall.

We are on vacation here in Maui. My 17 year old son wanted a tattoo. We researched tattoo parlors in Lahaina and chose Skin Factory. I’m glad I did. We were VERY impressed with the response time from Eddie Lin. The customer service got even better when we got there. Since it was his 1st tattoo my son was a little nervous. Eddie and Spike are the best! They took care of the whole family (6) people and (8) tattoos in one day making out trip that much more memorable. This is our second visit to Skin Factory and would HIGHLY recommend this shop if you’re in Maui looking for good artist that will work with you. Will definitely be back again!

Was visiting Maui with 2 of my girl friends, and we wanted to get a simple matching tattoo on our last day of our vacation, and came across Skin Factory Tattoo, and was immediately greeted so kindly by Eddie the shop owner. Was able to book an appointment with ease, and Eddie nailed it! The shop has such a cool vibe, super clean, and all very professional.

We Frequently visit the island and will definitely be back for more ink. The owner worked with us on rescheduling our appt due to changes in our itinerary. Then we screwed up and went to the wrong shop which caused a 45 min delay. Our artist, Kai, was flexible and very understanding. We arrived and he was so nice. Ive had a lot of condescending tattoo artists in the past but Kai was super personable and made us feel welcome. Not only that, he has a very gentle touch and this would officially be the first tattoo of mine that didnt scab up or weep a bunch. Not sure how he does it but we love our new ink and are very happy to write this review.

I called to see if I was able to get a last-minute tattoo while visiting Maui and Eddie was super accommodating. I wanted a palm tree on the back of my ankle, and he fit me in early, before his other appointments on the day I wanted! He finished my tattoo in under 10 minutes and his free-hand work was BEAUTIFUL!!! Honestly beyond impressed. I wish I had a tattoo shop like this in my home state. He was also super nice and professional, he asked how I was doing multiple times to make sure I was good throughout. Extremely reasonable pricing, I’m thrilled with my tattoo.

My wife and I are celebrating her birthday and our honeymoon in Maui. We knew we wanted new tattoos to help commemorate the occasion. Eddie worked with me from nearly 4550 miles away in SC to get us booked for an appointment and develop our chosen designs. He even was able to include my wife’s picture in her design! He personally took care of her on our appointment day and got me connected with Illya who helped me redesign my planned tat on the spot and then did an amazing job. The rest of the staff were engaging and helped us make a long day into a great day with some body art for the ages. Highly recommend the Skin Factory for tattoos in Maui.

Eddie is awesome!! My family wanted to get tattoos while we were in Maui. We booked a couple months back knowing that COVID might be an issue and Eddie was super flexible. I gave him a rough idea of what I wanted and he took it to the next level. He was very friendly, with a light touch and super critical of his own work. He truly cares that you get what you want but also that what you want looks good too. I can't wait to come back to Maui and get another tattoo.

Before heading to Maui for a family vacation, I googled Tattoo places in Maui and Skin Factory Tattoo caught my eye right away. The pictures of the place were great - the place looked clean and welcoming. I emailed Eddie and he responded within an hour or so. I told him what I wanted and got me in the day that I wanted to get it done.

When I showed up, he was very welcoming and the tattoo that he sketched up for me was amazing! He was super quick (about an hour) and the tattoo turned out way better than I ever could have imagined. I would go to him over and over again if we lived in Maui.
