Skin Factory Tattoo Maui

Eddie worked on both me and my new husband for our matching honeymoon tattoos. He did phenomenally well and my only regret is not getting another one from him. We got this on our last day in Maui. It literally took an hour max. For both. He was very personable and puts you at ease. We both loved having him tattoo us and would love to have him do another one on our 10th year anniversary.

I walked into this shop on a whim and it turned out to be the best tattooing experience I’ve ever had!! I’ve been to three shops before and they were fine, but this experience was great! Bryce was my artist and he was fantastic! His work was spectacular and he was very easy going. I also met Dave who was an awesome dude! The whole atmosphere was delightful and made the tattoo even more meaningful! If you’re looking for a fun, chill, generally awesome tattoo experience, definitely check this shop out!

My friend and I came into Skin Factory on our trip to Maui, and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with how friendly and welcoming the staff were, and the overall atmosphere of the shop. We got tattooed by Kai, who was super patient with both of us. He was more than happy to help my friend find good placement for his first tattoo, and he made sure he was more than comfortable and kept us entertained with good conversation. Overall, I highly recommend this shop if you're looking to have a really cool experience on Front Street that will last forever, or even if you're just looking to get some cool ink by some cool dudes. I greatly look forward to coming back to get more ink!

I decided to contact this shop based on their reviews and I am so glad I did! I was able to get an appointment for my last day on the island and was thrilled. I cannot begin to express how absolutely amazing Amanda is. Not only was she awesome to hang with for the few hours I was there getting my tattoo but man is she incredibly talented! I wanted a vintage pinup hula girl and she absolutely nailed it! I highly highly recommend getting work done by her.

My husband, daughters and myself went to the Skin Factory for tattoos on our last day in Maui. We received not only amazing hospitality, but a fun, clean environment. We all received the most amazing tattoos. The workmanship, skill, and realistic look was amazing. Sela, Kai, and Gabe are amazing artists. Big props to Sela on her artwork for myself and my daughters. I had a coverup done and she did not disappoint! 🤙🏻 Mahalo to the entire Skin Factory crew!

We were from out of state visiting Maui. We saw high reviews so we scheduled appointment next day. They didn’t disappoint. Owner did our matching tattoos. Shop was extremely clean, like surgical clean. Owner was friendly, professional and super quick at his job. Tattoos turned out perfect! This review was long over due since it’s been over 2 years tats done but coloring still excellent and remembering the great experience. Highly recommend!!! Thanks Skin Factory!!!

The shop had a very serene energy and staff was humorous and in good spirits..
They truly embody the meaning of Aloha.
To me everything is also how you treat someone, and aside from being amazing artists, I saw them patient, attentive and very catering to everyone that approached them.
They are very busy so I appreciated the time Eddie took out of his already busy schedule to do my piece.
He is very passionate and dedicated person and shows genuine concern with knowledge over his clients. I am more than grateful for the time he made to do my piece and he did an amazing job on my tattoo.

I wanted to get a manta ray tattoo to commemorate my 25th birthday with my mom and Illya went above and beyond. He helped me avoid a bad angle and gave it movement, redesigned the tail and managed to be funny+chill the entire time. Really great experience for a tattoo in Hawaii. I couldn't be happier for a permanent piece of art on me. Thanks Illya!!!

Great artists, chill environment, and a great place to get a tattoo while on you’re on vacation! Stop in earlier on your trip and set an appointment. We were able to walk in and get ink’d but availability will vary and you’ll want to get a tattoo once you don’t have plans to get in the water again so might as well plan ahead!

Eddie was is amazing...I gave him a picture of what I wanted and he made it even better, such a creative artist. Everyone in the shop was super friendly and easy to talk to. I will definitely be going back for another ink!
