The receptionists were fantastic, the artist Matt who did a Maui hook was personable, reliable and all around amazing. Sage was the artist who did my feather tattoo. He was an hour in a half late, made an excuse instead of an apology, he didn't even have the tattoo I wanted sketched up or prepared at all, then he came to me with the worst drawing EVER! I thought about not doing it at all. He seemed very uninterested in even doing my tattoo. All in all I would highly recommend Matt and NOT recommend sage! The company overall I think is great. Sage just didn't represent them will.

In town from the main land and wanted some ink. Contacted them and had an appointment the next day. Went in and met Max explained what I wanted "nordic binding runes side of neck and head" he absolutely killed it. Great guy and out of this world skill. Runes are just lines but his touch turned them into art. If you are in Maui and want ink definitely go to Max he will treat you right and give you a work of art. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place.

Curtis was amazing! I was pretty vague about what I wanted and he managed to figure it out perfectly. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted but he exceeded my expectations by a lot. He's an incredibly talented artist, very kind, welcoming and professional.

After walking in a few tattoo shops in the area, these guys were the only ones who were accomodating and very welcoming! We decided to book a spot, same day - and we were super happy with the Tatts! Next time I’m in Maui - I will definitely come back here. Desmond does a top notch job of the Polynesian Tatts - highly recommended. Thanks guys!

We went in with our photos and came out with a MASTER PIECES. My husband had Ryson and is very happy with his Cross that he did.
I had Camila and she gave me 3 of the most beautiful Sea Turtles I have ever seen.
Mid Pacific Tattoo takes their time and listens to the customer and makes sure that you get what you wanted.
Don’t be afraid to let them change it up because you will get more than what you expected, and it will truly be one of a kind!

My girlfriend and I dropped in based on this shop's stellar reviews and were not disappointed. Ryson is an extremely talented artist, friendly, easy to work with, and flexible. As someone who has been to many different artists, I can say that he is in the top of his class and would be an excellent choice for new and experienced clients alike.

Stellar tattoo experience! Voted Maui's #1 tattoo shop for a reason. Clean, professional, personable, creative, and fun! Their artists are very talented and cover a gamut of styles.
Throughout the time leading up to our tattoos we were advised by Fanny who manages the Lahainaluna shop. She answered every question, matched our ideas to artists, and guided us effortlessly through the pre-lims. My wife's tattoo was done by Tommy, was hand-drawn on her and the finished product is lovely. Mine was done by Bob who incorporated several important Polynesian styles into a very unique piece.
To say we're thrilled is an understatement!

I can’t give the artist a bad review cause I never actually spoke with one.

The girl at the desk on the other hand.... my wife and I first went in and asked about walk-ins being welcomed, she stated they are but we should make an appointment to “secure a spot”. Which we did the following day when I called. A deposit of $100 each plus tax. She then asked plenty of questions of where and what we wanted. We show up for our 5pm appointment 10 min early and she said “she totally lost track of time”... and that it will be 30-45 min before we can get started. We sat and waited and I knew what she said wasn’t true because their were 2 or 3 people ahead of us. I asked again what she thought and now it’s 45min to an hour”ish”.... then one of the artist actually suggested us going to their other location! I was so heated! My wife and I left. That is no way to run a business.

I do not recommend this place at all and if you do decide to go DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! Just walk in and wait cause that’s what they were going to make us do they basically robbed me of my $200 plus tax from my deposit.

Matt is not only a great artist but a great person. This was my first tatoo and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Definitely recommend this shop and artist Matt to anyone wanting a tattoo.
