Ironbridge Tattoo

The boys at Ironbridge are incredible. Kobi does amazing Japanese-style and black & grey tattoos, Evan does the most beautiful realism, and Matt has a unique style and color palette that's iconic and all his own. If you give these guys a concept or prompt they will use their creativity and work with you to make something that exceeds your expectations, no matter how big or small the project is.

In addition to their powerhouse of talent, they are the coolest dudes! They are both professional and lots of fun, giving you a comfortable and clean experience while offering great conversation and constant laughs.

The majority of the pieces in my collection are from Ironbridge and it's incredible how having tattoos you love given to you by people you respect can improve your self image and help you love yourself more! I can't recommend this place enough!

My friend and I recently visited Kauai for 11 days, we made a last minute decision to see if we could get some tattoos done before we left. I called Ironbridge and Kobi was able to get us in the next day. When we got to the shop, the first thing I noticed was how CLEAN the place was. The cozy atmosphere made us immediately at ease, and they even had AC!! Kobi was very professional yet super laid back (and funny) and made us ladies feel extremely comfortable. He played around with our ideas and worked with us to create the most beautiful tattoos. We absolutely LOVE them! This is a brand new shop but don't be scared of that, Kobi and Matt have worked together at a previous shop and have been tattooing for years! I highly recommend this place. We miss Kobi already! Thank you again!!

I got my first half-sleeve done here by Kobi, I put my trust 100% into his work and it came out better than I could have imagined. I live on a different island so our only conversations were through email and social media, this didn’t stop him from making an amazing piece of work. If you had any questions about this place, don’t think twice because you will get the best service, art, and professionalism put forth. Thank you Kobi, I’ll be back to complete that full!

I got my tattoo before we were heading back home and Evan was amazing. He responded to his emails quickly and was very professional. Prices were great and his artwork was exactly what I wanted. I am super happy with the outcome and highly recommend!

The place is excellent! Matt was able to work with my friend and I to get us in before the wedding we were going to. Super awesome tattoo, fair price, and great shop/atmosphere. Def recommend!

Shop closes at 6pm. Walked in there at 4:45 and the guy refused to tattoo a small piece. Kobi had 3 excuses.

1) not enough time

2) “You should think about your body as prime real estate. Make sure you know what you want...” (My wife walked in there with two ideas she liked and wanted his opinion on what he would have wanted to tattoo or turned out the best per his skills)

3) the tattoo is too small to get done and have it look nice. My wife was more than happy to go larger to avoid this issue.

I have a full leg piece by a top tattoo artist and my wife has several pieces around her body, we are not idiots when it comes to tattooing.

We walked in a shop and the guy just didn’t want to tattoo, it’s that simple.

I hope the shop owner reads this and finds out Kobi was too lazy to complete a simple tattoo in 1 hour and 15 minutes (the tattoo could have been done in 45 minutes truthfully).

Disappointing experience, 1 star for a lazy tattoo artist and just making up excuse after excuse to not work.

Why even hangout in the shop at 4:45 if you refuse to tattoo for the last 1h 15m of your shift?

I w as referred to Matt while he was still at his previous shop, and transitioned over three heavy hitter sessions to Ironbridge, for the last of the three sessions.

Nestled directly behind street burger, Ironbridge has Sleeping Giant as it's back drop dory out their back window. Convenient to get to and ample parking, which is in high demand on Garden Island.

Enough about parking...onto important matters...this kid is the real deal. I came to Matt with an idea, at best, and a partial cover up that was going to be a challenge. After shooting some ideas back and forth, Matt took my rambling and created a piece of art.

The Dragon Tattoo he put together was detailed without being to overwhelming. He contoured it to come down the chest and wrap around, into the stomach.

We worked up a first date and met thee times, every 30 days, until the piece was complete.

Matt's attention to detail and focus during a session is uncanny; couple that with his ability to ease into conversation, and you have an amazing experience. My favorite part was just before the needle first hit the skin and he didn't sugar coat the moment saying, "well, this is gonna suck!"

If you have the chance to check out this establishment and artist, do it! Matty also does artwork which has been on display Java Kai, and it is solid work. I cannot wait for my next tattoo idea.

Koji and Matt are amazing. My wife and I each got 5-6 hours of work done in one sitting. We both love the work and would get another from either artist.

Fantastic shop. Tasteful af. Clean af. These boys are true artists and fantastic at what they do. From taking care of you to drawing the perfect piece, they do it all. I’ve been tattooed by both Matt and Kobi and I️ recommend them first to everyone I️ know.

Kobi is a great artist and very patient! I’m terrible at articulating sometimes but thankfully between him and my wife he drew up a great tattoo and the end result was perfect!!
