Nic was amazing with both piercings and tattoos. He pierced my daughter's daith and tattooed my name in Korean! The brush stroke looks perfect! He was kind and clean and even seemed excited to help me fix some other pieces! I felt welcome and comfortable. Been in GA since 2006, Woodstock since 2012, been to many tat shops and Straight Edge is the ONLY place I will be going for piercings or tattoos moving forward. Thank you Nic! Hope to see you soon!

Update: I've gotten several more tattoos from Nic and I really love all of them. Not only are the pieces great but I feel like I'm listened to whenever I try to voice my ideas. I've definitely found my go to shop for all my future tattoos.

I highly recommend Straight Edge Tattoo and Nic (artist/owner) for any body work. I worked with Nic to design a custom tattoo and he was great to collaborate with. He has a great sense of color and depth as well as body part considerations.
My tattoo took 2 sessions to complete and Nic was easy to schedule with and take feedback on what I was looking for. He also had ideas of his own which were far better than mine. His after care is very good and my tattoo healed quickly and without scabbing or itching!
I'm thrilled with the outcome and will come back again.
Also, he runs a clean shop and took the time to sanitize very well before and after my sessions.

I see why people think highly of this place, it’s so weird and different and to me, that’s always a good sign. There was some slight hiccups, but that just comes with the territory. People don’t realize that it’s more expensive to run a smaller business, so shop prices are a little higher than going to some place with a lot of artists that just want to get you in and out as fast as possible. That being said, even tho I got a smaller tattoo, it looks really good. Better than some of the others I have gotten at different shops. Nic even looked at a tat that I need fixed and came up with ideas on the spot, even tho he was in the middle of something. That says a lot. When people care about the craft, it shows. I’m excited to see what Nic can do for my “cover up”.

I just had my tattoo done today by Nic! He did an absolutely incredible job! He was clean, thorough, and a super fun guy to chat with during the tattooing process. Prior to my actual tattoo appointment Nic took the time to have a design consultation with me, so I was involved in every piece of this tattoo experience. He went above and beyond my expectations! What can I say!!! Nic and his staff where very helpful from the consultation all the way to me asking questions after the tattoo. It was my first one and I couldn’t be happier with it. Nic took the time to get to know you and figure out exactly what you wanted done. Everything is super clean and safe. Please give them a call if you ever need a tattoo. I know there are hundreds of shops in and around Woodstock, but I feel like Straight Edge’s customer service and attention to detail is what puts them above the rest. I definitely will be back!!!

I only have one other tattoo and had been wanting to get another one for several years but I wanted the tattoo to mean something to me. Well recently I lost my dog of 14 years and two days later it hit me that I wanted a tattoo in memory of him. I researched tattoo shops and Straight Edge had quite a few good reviews. I went to the shop (which was the first day I had left the house) and walked in and told them I wasn't looking for anything big and gave them an idea of what I wanted. Even though my tattoo was small, Luke took quite a bit of time sketching it out and it was exactly what I wanted. He did a great job and now I feel like my buddy is with me forever. Not to mention the shop was very clean and professional. I will definitely come back for any future tats.
