Walked in and was helped right away by David! Dave did an exceptional job helping bring my idea into reality.. I only have 3 or 4 screenshots of didnt Jellyfish and he complied them perfectly!
Had great conversation the entire time and even has me planning on other tattoos for the future!!

If I could give it a zero star I would. Went for matching tattoos with my mom and sis. While I was trying to figure out between the three of us how we wanted the tattoo executed. One of the artists was very rude and said it was stupid was very unhelpful. They said they would have one artists do 2 and the other do my mom's. So they would all match. The artist who did my mom's who was also the rude one even came up to the other artist asked what colors he was using and still used completely different colors and design. Which by the way was supposed to be a water colored yin and yang. And what we got was nothing of the sorts. They didn't match. And the healing afterwards we ALL have scarring and scabs. Terrible terrible service. Didn't do what the customer wanted. If they didn't know how to do watercolor style they should've just turned us away. Instead I have to now go pay another artist to fix their mess of a tattoo that's front and center on our wrists! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. AND YOU SHOULDNT EITHER. I honestly should have left when they were rude but my sister was moving away the day after and none of my normal artists were in town.

I gave Brandon an idea of what I wanted and the art that he drew out was absolutely amazing! Way better than what I had in mind. He also hooked me up with a great price. All the staff there are very friendly and willing to help you realize your vision. Great place!

Amazing work! The artist worked with me on what I wanted and kept the price reasonable. My sister and I walked in and my artist stayed to make sure I got what I wanted. I will definitely be coming here again if I make it back down to Savannah!

My wife and i visited california tattoo today and we are extremely happy with our tats. I had M. Pickman do my tat and he did such a great job. I told him what i wanted and he went above and beyond. If your in the Savannah area and want some good art work go check these guys out. We will definitely be back next year to get some more ink

After I very bad experience with a tattoo artist in August, I have been hesitant to get anymore ink for a very long time. I was very anxious that because of the poor quality I have received I'm the past and insanely nervous about finally getting something else.
California Tattoo is probably one of the friendliest shops I've been to in a very long time. They were so sweet and helpful and, best of all, talented. I have 9 tattoos and EVERYONE in my life is telling me that this lastest is the best one I have. Thank you so much Brandon and California Tattoo!!

First off...let me say that I truly fell in love with this shop and my artist Chris Norrell...he is one true artist that took my ideas and gave them a beautiful twist of his own. He also did a custom piece for my husband which is just amazing. When my husband and I went back for more work from Chris, we were told he is no longer tattooing as he shot his hand. They offered no other info and we were truly heart broken....we wanted an artist that we could count on and stick with as I am sure many of you do.
We decided to get our next pieces done by the two other gentlemen that work there...which are good artists btw....but they are not who we wanted to finish work that was started by Chris. I came to find out that Chris is fine and happy working at a new location called Kustom Hustle on MLK in savannah. Chris told me that CA tattoo has been telling all of His clients that he is not working anymore just to keep their business. That makes me mad...if I would have known this, I would have had my artist that I was comfortable with doing my work....if anyone is looking for Chris...he is well and tattooing. Shame on you CA tattoo...,wish I could get my money back for being lied to. I plan on contacting the owners to make them aware that people feel loyalty to their artists and should offer proper info to all clients.
