Karmic Tattoo

I had a tattoo made by the tattoo artist Derrick, I paid 800 dollars for the tattoo and a free touchup session after three weeks, contacted him for a touchup appointment and he ghosted me, he stopped replying even though he read all my messages, disrespectful and dishonest, my tattoo has permanent mistakes made by him and he didn't even want to reply like a decent human being, I don't recommend anyone to go get a tattoo from this place, it is shady.

This was my first tattoo and it was a fantastic experience from the consultation to the finished work.

I was impressed with the professionalism, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the quality of the work itself. I am definitely going back again for my next one.

I was especially impressed with the artist who did my work, Hannah. They did a wonderful job. I was a bit nervous but their professionalism and friendliness put me right at ease. Before they were halfway through I was ready to book my next appointment.

This place is HIGHLY recommended.

Super fast, super clean. Great vibes. Amazing people.

Said I wanted sepia toned, natural colored, henna like tattoo. Got a dark mix of black and brown with marbling, with black outline. Looks like someone drew it on with magic marker. Will not be going back for a fix. It was a simple stamp tattoo that cost too much.

I went for some jewelry and greeted with a smile. In and out with no problem

To preface, they are appointment only and requiring masks for entry. I'd suggest visiting their website for a tattoo, or calling the day of if you're wanting a piercing. They also require a $100.00 deposit.

Hannah did a tattoo for me, and was very kind and patient the whole time. I only spoke with her directly, but the other artists (Bree, Derrick, and Edgar) there at the time seemed to be just as friendly and professional; all in all a very welcoming environment. I had a great experience, and I love the work I had done!

I am so glad I found this place! Even though they didn’t have Friday the 13th pricing my experience was more than worth it. The customer service was great. Over the phone they patiently answered all of my questions and booked my appointment. The place was clean and felt safe except for the one person who wasn’t wearing a mask at all but she went in the back and was away from us at least. I had to go back by myself for the piercing. My cousin was able to go in with her daughter though. And I have to SHOUT OUT Edgar! He was so professional and chill at the same time. I don’t even live in this state but I will definitely come back whenever it’s time to get my next piercing!

I was told I shouldnt get a boyfriends name tattooed. I couldn’t get the whole thing done because I felt claustrophobic..and the artist was trying to tell me to get something else instead of what I wanted originally. I wanted a full name . The artist kept telling me to get a symbol and told me I would probably regret it. It was a small tattoo for $100. I wanted it bigger. The tattoo artist kept telling me to get it small and that I should not get a name tattooed.

I got my outer conch pierced here a couple days ago! A lovely experience and the piercer, Steven was very kind and non-threatening. I’m a minor so I expected the process to be super hard but it wasn’t. All they needed was me and my mom to show our IDs. The piercing was $40 and then some tax. He and his apprentice took me to a back room and it was clean and had cute Star Wars Pop Figures on a shelf and a nice tray set up with his supplies. He explained the process and made sure I was ready before we started. Super easy and virtually painless and he let my mom stay in the room too. My only complaint is that the next morning the earring fell off (not blaming anyone this stuff happens) and I had a mini freak out at work. I called and the dude who answered wasn’t super helpful so I had to use a replacement earring until I could get home and replace it with a proper (sanitized!!!) stud. The piercing is healing fine and I have no complaints. I’ll be recommending Karmic to my friends. Thank y’all so much!

UPDATE:
Upgrading them to five stars. I got my septum pierced earlier this month. One again, Steven did an awesome job and my nose is healing quickly! The piercing was probably a 7/10 for me pain wise, but it was only for about 3 seconds and we all have different pain thresholds. I was pierced with a 16g needle and everything was super clean. He once again explained the entire process to me and made sure I was ready. The jewelry he used was super pretty, and the receptionist was also really kind and reassuring. I now trust him with any future piercings :)

UPDATE:
Just got my second tattoo here by Bree Stallworth. Turns out her alma mater is my current school. She had a film playing and had an apprentice in there while she worked on my upper back. The tattoo was very quick and they were very welcoming. I felt comfortable because she was a woman and very understanding that she was tattooing an intimate area.

Bree Stallworth is so talented and detail oriented. I have two tattoos that she has done and not only am I completely ecstatic with them, but I get compliments every where I go. My husband has a piece done by her also and she was able to transform our ideas into something that was so much better than we originally envisioned. The shop is very clean. We will continue to go back!
