Carter Ink Tattoos

Cart Ink is hands down the BEST. Carter has unbelievable artistic vision! I am continually approached by people in awe of my tattoo. The shop is beautiful and the staff is always friendly. Carter Ink is where you want to be for all of your tattoo and piercing needs!

I was at Carter yesterday to fill in my sleeve in. The artist who did the work was named Doobie. He does great work an works fast. Has a very light hand so that makes the tatto experience so much better. The shop is clean an customer service is always great.

Great shop and great people. Jeremy sellers is top notch. I’m constantly being stopped by people asking about the tattoo he did on my arm. Such great line work. Stoked for him to do future work! Hit him up!

I have moved states at this point but this will be forever my favorite establishment. The employees are easy to talk to and super nice. Its a very clean environment and all my tattoos and piercings here are super high quality. I highly recommend

I lost my lil bro about 7 months ago. My dad is not just open to anything, but he wanted a portrait of my brother on his arm. He has his ashes around his neck but wanted my brother alive on his arm. Carter made this happen. Very happy and grateful for the turnout. This guy has never disappointed me! Down to earth and truly amazing! He actually cares. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

I own/run a tattoo shop in South Dakota. I traveled down here to deliver them personally as I needed a few days off. Im merely an acquaintance of carter. Weve shared memes and had discussions about business. After remodeling my shop, I sold carter some glass cases for his new shop. I drove 21 hrs to southern Georgia to deliver them. He not only only gave me and my co-pilot a room at his home to rest. Rather than getting a hotel which we planned on doing.He payed for dinner and entertainment the 4 days we were there. I was tattooed by Jay rush and pierced at Karma while there. All top notch professional people id be happy to employ in my shop.He waited until we were on the way back home to pay for the display cases and gave me 5x what I asked for them. This studio is fantastic! Very clean and friendly. Their work is GREAT! I drove 7 hours to get my tattoo from them, YES THEY ARE THAT GOOD! Prices are very reasonable for the QUALITY of work they do. You won't be disappointed.

I got my first ink at Carter Ink a year ago. I had such a great experience that when I decided to get my second, I made the drive from Atlanta. However, when I arrived, the shop was so busy that I was sent to the sister store, Karma Ink. Trusting the shop, I drove over...

Jenni was my artist and she was amazing! I had a design in mind and she patiently worked with me and made sure that the artwork was exactly what I wanted. I'm so happy with the end result and I've gotten so many compliments!

It's been a year since I got ink done at Carter's, by Carter himself. At first appearance everything seemed alright. I asked for "Photo Realistic" Feathers. I was very specific as in my Native American Heritage, each Feather has specific meanings. I had to bring in or send the pictures of the types I wanted.... not a problem. I already had some "Quill Bead Bands" and one Feather on my right arm, which he went over and added Red and Blue, he seemed frustrated about the other feathers, took a cigarette break, first of many, then came back to continue.
We had agreed that I wanted another row of quill beads and the leather band completed around my arm, he again became agitated and began to work as quickly as he could to be done, and didn't even change the shader needle back to a liner needle, so it looks like a kid did it with a crayon. Carter told me that we were done for the day, but, he would put more detail and under shading in next visit. (This never happened), I had to get it done by another shop, and pay for what was supposed to be paid for already. Carter did three Feathers on my left arm at the next session. He again needed a picture, I guess to trace, he went over another existing tattoo, and at my request made it look like Turquoise Stone, which turned out rather nice, but complained again when we were to complete the band around my arm. He said you probably won't take the pain, I did, it didn't feel great but I took it. In my overall opinion, all of the work was rushed, the lines are wobbly, some are even blown out. The color is already faded and it's only been a year. I am now going to another shop that CAN DO Photo Realism. One thing that I thought was strange, is that I was left ALONE, in the chair while he went out to smoke and talk on his cell phone.... his equipment and Ink bottles, etc. all out in the open.
He later accused me of touching over 100 of his machines, which I never even saw, while he was out on one of his smoke breaks. I am a 22 plus year Army Veteran, Senior NCO, with multiple Combat Deployments, and was later a Georgia State Post Certified Corrections Police Officer. My Brother has been Tattooing for over 30 years and I don't touch his Machines, except when he taught me to Tattoo. His Inks are out in the open, so if anybody sneezed, all of his bottles would be contaminated. Not a good experience at all.

Jamie did an amazing job and made it super comfortable while working. Work done was amazing!!!
