These guys do great work. Friendliest tattoo staff with a very relaxed vibe and super clean atmosphere. Artists here have amazing talent and are very easy to work with especially Sean Flood. Ask for him! I highly recommend him for anything small or big.

I got my tattoo done this week and loved it! Originally I scheduled an appointment in July and had something come up and they allowed me to reschedule with ease. Rob was so quick , efficient, detail oriented and laid back. I would absolutely recommend everyone to get a tattoo done at this shop !

My sisters and I were getting a small delicate tattoo. We wanted to use the stencils to finalize our design, but Rob was agitated throughout the process and rushed us although his assistant told me my deposit covered an hour and a half of his time. His assistant was more helpful than he was. It was suppose to be a bonding, fun experience for my sisters and I. Instead it was awkward, silent and with a tattoo artist that seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else other then at work.

My sister and I went last minute to get tattoos and they were able to squeeze us in. Marco and Rob did our tattoo’s. They are so talented and sweet. It was such a great experience. I can’t wait to go back. I definitely recommend them.

I went in today, March 7th to have two tattoos done with Nicole. She was awesome! Very professional and wonderfully put together. She had my designs ready to go when I got there and had them done in no time. She was super gentle (not heavy handed at all). As someone who doesn’t have a high pain tolerance I appreciated that the most. She was very thorough and gave clear/precise tattoo care instructions. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future!

I highly recommend this place. Rob Flat does beautiful work! Be prepared though, he prefers payment in cash. Not a bad thing, but good to be prepared for. Nice atmosphere, decent parking in a good location. I got my tattoo yesterday and it's already healing really nicely. This was my first time going to Tried and True Tattoo and I will definitely be back.

Rob Flat did an incredibly amazing job on my elbow tattoo! Definitely not an easy to sit through, but his technique made it easier to sit through! My tattoo exceeded my expectations! This shop is amazing and Mallory was great with communicating and following up with me very quickly! Can’t wait to get my next one!

Robs' work is second to none but I am forced to give his shop a less-than-perfect review because he was unable, unwilling, or uncomfortable incorporating my ideas that I have been planning for several years into a very expensive leg piece for me. Excellent artist; but in the end he was unable to meet the needs of this particular customer for a very costly piece of work. I'm disappointed that after all my hard work to find an artist of his caliber that I must none the less continue my quest for a first rate artist to ink me up, but I respect his integrity as an artist. Sorry about the bad review Tried And True, but these reviews are how I chose you.
The Never Ending Story
I went to see Rob at Tried and True on April 09, 2016 and I will say it was an experience. This was my first tattoo and Rob did an amazing job creating a custom tattoo based on what I verbally told him I wanted. I am still in the healing process but the tattoo came out amazing and exceeded my expectations! I cant wait to get in a two piece too show it off!
