Had the pleasure of getting some new ink at this shop. I told my artist (Nick) that this was genuinely BY FAR the coolest shop i have ever been to. The thing with tattoo shops is they feel very very intimidating for someone new to the scene. As soon as i walked in everyone made me feel welcomed and I felt like i was meant to be there. Nothing but great reviews, will continue recommending this shop to anyone who needs a solid contact.

I have been to Calavera for a few tattoos now and have always had a great experience and leave with great ink. The most recent time, I was able to get an appointment quickly and the artist Zach Wolf contacted me right away. After discussing the tattoo with Zach, my appointment was on time and everything went perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with the result. He’s a great artist and from my experience all the artists there are professional and talented. Highly recommended.

I went here for my bachelor party with three of my groomsman, and we were all given a great tattoo even though we contacted the shop very lady minute. Frankie did a great job, all of our tattoos healed great, everything was comfortable and professional, and we couldn’t be more happy. Blue marlins for life now! Highly recommend!

Frankie was amazing and redid the placement 6 times for my moms tattoo to make sure it was even and straight!

Got a matching tattoo done the day before mother's day, with my husband. We were a walk-in and wanted custom work done .. they said "no problem," and got us in right away as soon as they finished drawing up our designs. The designs were exactly what we wanted and the pricing was fair. Very clean shop, enjoyed the conversations I had w the different artists, and also the shop itself(artwork and ambience). Would definitely recommend! Our artist was Alex.

A group of girlfriends took a little vacation and decided to get some fresh tattoos while we were there. I contacted the shop through Yelp and Josh got back to me right away and set us up with Frankie for our session. Two of us got three small tattoos and our other friend got two small tattoos. Frankie was great with us and gave us exactly what we wanted! She was so easy to get along with and made the whole experience fun...it’s exactly what we needed to end our trip!
