Incredible atmosphere, the only thing better is the artists and their work. They are very professional and worth every penny. Had my piece done by Jerry and I couldn't be happier with it. Can't wait to go get my next tattoo done here once I have the cash.

Love this shop so much. Originally came in for the first time when I found out one of my favorite Nat Marin moved here at the beginning of the year. Haven’t changed shops since. Everyone here is talented and create beautiful pieces of art. I’ve been lucky to not only have pieces done by Nat but also Sam Mancino, who is also crazy talented. I recommend anyone that is thinking of getting their first tattoo or their 5th to come into the shop and check them out!

Natalia is amazing!! Super sweet and she did an amazing job with my tattoo. The studio is very clean and they only have extremely talented artists working there.

I am so glad I picked this place. Everything was immaculately clean and the artists were all super nice. Sam gave me and my mom incredibly detailed and elegant tiny tattoos. She was super nice and very talented. I highly recommend Ochos Placas, as well as Samantha Mancino. Parking is funky, so heads up that you can park parallel to the building!

Let me first state that I am very disappointed with the Ocho Placa Tattoo Establishment. I have 2 specific complaints. Approximately 1 week ago I stopped by the shop to get a traditional tattoo. I had set up the appointment and gave a $100.00 deposit instead of the standard $60.00 deposit. I was determined to get a tattoo from one their artist and made an appointment.
1) Today (8/18/16) I called to cancel my appointment permanently because a family crisis came up with my daughter which was unexpected. I informed the person who answered the phone regarding my situation and asked him if I could get a refund due to my situation. He stated he could not due to the contractual agreement and the transaction had already been processed.
2) The day I paid for the deposit and up until now, no sketch was made. My appointment was still approximately 2 weeks away. I gave the shop plenty notice of cancellation. I had asked the person who I was speaking with if I could at least have the extra money that was placed on the deposit..deposited back into my account. The response was no because the transaction was already done.

2 issues I have are with respect to my unfortunate conversation are as follows: First out of Principal the management of Ocho Place should have understood my dire situation and refunded me of my deposit. Second, as a potential customer with a referral base, they should have conceded and retracted the contractual agreement. Third, I called 2 weeks in advance of my cancellation. I would understand (no refund) if I made my cancellation the day before my scheduled appoint.

Although, the person I spoke with stated that I could reschedule at a later, switch tattoo artist, and have a year before I lose my deposit does not in the end remedy my situation.

My girlfriend and I have only been tattooed by Javier Betancourt, but his tattoos are unrivaled. His line-work is incredibly precise and the finished pieces are impressive. The other artists there are crazy good too and I continue to recommend this place to friends and family.

This is the best tattoo shop in south Florida, hands down. Respectable tattoo artists with many years in the industry doing the best work in south Florida hands down. With and all star staff that can handle any work you bring it.

Ocho Placas Tattoo Company is awesome for the beginner or experienced tattooer. Love the place! Always welcoming and great group of people. Im working on a Japanese style sleeve that Jerry Blades is working on and its beautiful!!!!

I have been planning my entire vacation around the appointment I have set at ochoplacas, the artist was very nice about giving his email so that he could work with me and assuring me it would happen, and that he would take a look at the references and call me back asap to talk about the piece, i have called him several times and every time he has promised that after this tattoo hes working on, or on his next break he will call me, never did, last night ( the night before i am supposed to drive two hours to my appt with him) he promised he would go home and email me right away. Now a few hours before the appointment I have still not heard from him. The dudes are crazy if they think im going to drive two hours to go be told im going to spend 800 dollars on some not 800 piece, or worse he wont even have the time then to pay me any attention, quit a disappointment as i have been looking forward to treating myself to this tattoo for my birthday for months, and really doing my research on who i wanted to do it. They obviously dont value their clients as much as they say they do.

Got my first tattoo there. They made it a very intimidating experience. Have received many compliments on quality of the work. John Vale was the artist. Planning my next.
