South of Heaven Tattoo

I’m real happy with SOH tattoos. I was in town for a burial at sea for my dad, a sailor, and wanted a memorial tattoo. SOH was able to get me scheduled quickly with Jason who gave me a great anchor tattoo. The facility was very clean and professional. I highly recommend!

Got tattoos from here. They were the first shop we saw. We love them. They were very professional, clean and tentative. We knew what we wanted and got them. I would def recommend

My husband and I had a tattoo in mind for several years, however, it was a very difficult one and nobody in our area could execute the tattoo the way we envisioned it. We were going to Key Largo for vacation and researched tattoo shops in the area, looked at websites with pics of work and google reviews. South of Heaven won us over hands down. Then when we actually set up our appointment and went we were blown away! Brandon Bennett exceeded our expectations for our tattoo! I cannot say enough good things about this place! You guys rock!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in the Florida Keys. We visited the Theater of the Seas and saw an amazing tattoo on this young lady and we asked her where she got it from. She mentioned this tattoo parlor and we headed straight over. An original tattoo parlor with such incredibly talented artists for sure! Anthony and Jason were extremely personable and professional. I love that the shop sits down with you and designs your tattoo with you, right there and then. No back and forth :). When it comes to being born for a purpose, each one of these artists were born to tattoo. Their work is PHENOMENAL! My husband and I are beyond thrilled with our tattoos. The prices were exceptionally reasonable, the quality is terrific, the pristine cleanliness was appreciated, and the artists were very kind! A FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE FOR SURE! We will be back for more tattoos when we head back to the Florida Keys. This parlor is a GEM!

Not only are they professional, they are also incredibly super clean. My experience with them, yet again, is perfect. Im over the moon with Jason. He never is short of putting a huge smile on my face with the the ideas I have put in his mind. This is an Artist you definitely want when you make a choice to mark yourself. Impressive to the complete mark. Cannot wait for the next. Btw, the owners are worth the effort of meeting as well. Its a comfy feeling from start to finish.

My fiance and I traveled from Tampa to Key Largo for the weekend just to get tattooed at this shop. We did a TON of research before selecting South of Heaven. After stopping into some of our local shops in Tampa and Ybor City, we hadn't been impressed with the the grungy, punk rock-style vibe and the cliche- hipster attitude that came with it ("What!? You DON'T want a huge back piece or a half-sleeve? Then you're not worth tattooing, get out!").. We are pretty clean-cut people and were looking for a shop that could create our *small* tattoos with talented artists, clean tattooing conditions, and a vibe that wouldn't make us feel really out of place while getting tattooed. South of Heaven met all of our needs. The artists were amazing and created both of our pieces to look way better than either of us had ever imagined. Jon does excellent line work and really has a flair for intricate detail. He was able to take the simple design I brought in and really take it to the next level to make it AWESOME. Jason was able to create a "white ink" tattoo for my fiance which, despite Jason's candid warnings that white tattoos can fade/blur/color change/disappear, we really love it and it was exactly what we had wanted. (My fiance is not a tattoo person and wanted something very discreet that has a lot of personal meaning, so white ink fit our needs very well - it's okay if it blurs or disappears, Jason....we still love the tattoo and are prepared to get touch ups/cover ups down the road if needed). The reason for only four stars and not five is because neither of the artists were very personable at first- neither artist introduced himself or asked for our names until we took the first step to introduce ourselves - AFTER talking for fifteen minutes about the tattoo design. It would have been a more comfortable experience overall had they been a bit more welcoming in the beginning, as they were very straight-to-the-point. However, their artwork was amazing and I'd rather have a good artist than a friendly artist any day when it comes to something so permanent. Prices were very reasonable and the shop was well set-up, clean, and organized. I would definitely recommend this shop to a friend.

My husband & I we’re vacationing in The Keys and decided to get tattoos as a memento. We went in with an idea of something pretty basic (Palm tree or 🐚 ) but this Anthony let us take our time and discuss it so that we were 100% sure of what we wanted. Long story short we couldn’t decide so this father son team came up with some kick a$$ tattoos that embodied our entire trip. Professional, friendly, clean lines, excellent color and they are dimensional. The shop was extremely clean and decorated unlike most shops you know when you walk in you’re getting high end ink.
