I've been going here for 3 & 1/2 years to get inked and I can say this is the best shop in Jacksonville. Excellent customer service and amazing tattoo artists. There is a reason this shop has been award The Best Tattoo Shop in Jacksonville for two years in a row! Kenny, Gavin, Mark, and Will are all great guys and have extreme talent. I highly recommend going there!

My cousin first brought me to Florida Velvet some years ago and I’ve always been going back to get new ink done there. The guys that have worked on me are all great people and they do outstanding jobs each time. Distance to drive from my house is farther than other tat shops, but it’s worth the drive and worth every cent once the finished piece is done. I’ll post a pic of my owl tat that I got done there which is just one proof of why I always go back. Always pleased when I get new ink from F.V! :)

Awesome, great place to do your tattoo for sure !! Great artist with reasonable prices, clean studio, great atmosphere, very friendly stuff. I am highly satisfied and will have some more work done here.
My tattoo was done by Marc and it was great. William and Kenny are also great, so which ever one you pick, you cant go wrong.

I must have looked at 10 different shop websites before picking one. I saw Will's portfolio and I knew I had to have him do mine! He did my floral sleeve with the added touch of my fur baby and it's absolutely perfect. Everyone is so nice and I will definitely be back to get more.

I've gotten six tattoos here and a piercing by Marc. I first came in as a walk in two years ago, with a basic idea and image that I wanted. Marc took the basis of the idea and re-drew it to make it unique and his own. After how beautiful it came out I've been throwing him ideas here and there and just letting him do this thing to see what his mind comes up with and I've never been less than amazed at how beautiful the drawings come out. He's really delicate and thorough with the stencil placing and makes sure you're 100% comfortable and happy with what your about to get tattooed. He takes his time and walks you through the process. He always answers any questions thoughtfully, and is just an all around extremely down to earth and kind person. All the other guys at the shop are phenomenal at what they do as well. I know many people that have had each of them tattoo them and they all have come out extremely detailed and well done too. I've gotten tattooed at other shops but none compare to Florida Velvet or Marc. If you're looking for a shop where you can feel at home, and a piece of art that you'll constantly be in awe of, look no farther.

After going to some bad studios in town, I heard about Florida Velvet from a friend and decided to check it out. From the second we walked in I was so happy we came. Evan talked with us about what we wanted and made the design come together. His line work was so impressive and the price was pretty decent. Definitely will be coming back to him for further work 😊
