I came here after losing a dear friend to get a tattoo in remembrance of her and Dariel not only helped me, but all the friends who came to get a tattoo to honor this friend. He was patient, welcoming, and a fantastic artist who understood what we were looking for. Couldn’t be more thankful for the service he gave us. Will definitely be coming back!
Truth Hurts
After many months of contemplating this review, for what its worth, I decided to.
For starters, its overpriced to say the least. And even more so if you want anything done in color. I had some work done back in January with the owner, Victor. You’d think with his reputation he’d have a more professional approach but he did not. Why? Well, I have other tattoos, which compared to him would be considered amateur. But even they took the time to discuss my tattoo & my thoughts on where I want it & how. In this case, he did not. It was drawn up in moments & despite agreeing for it to be in color, & also paying an additional $300, it was 90% black & white. Not to mention, ENORMOUS compared to what I had in mind. Literally a half sleeve when I asked for something average in size. It seems he only does half sleeve work (perhaps cause he has more room for error) or its his specialty. Regardless, he could’ve respectively turned me away if he couldn’t me my expectations for my tattoo I will (seemingly) wear forever, no? A true professional has his clients best interest in mind, but this individual only seemed to be concerned about the money. You must also be careful not to get fooled by his “success”, cause people only post & speak about it anyways. They never talk about their failed jobs, of course. But I’m one of them & I’m speaking out for those unable to see it.
The most disgraceful thing about it was his front desk “manager” trying to charge me $15 for an ointment when I had just payed $1800 for a tattoo that didn’t turn out how I wanted it to. Truly pathetic & unprofessional. They will nickel & dime you.
Fast forward to a few months later, & thankfully the tattoo is nearly gone. I decided to get it removed, & its nothing short of a painful & monetary stressful experience. I highly recommend anyone looking to get a tattoo to seriously take time to find a good artist & have a talk. If you don’t feel comfortable with them or they can’t seem to get the idea you have in mind about the artwork you want, simply don’t do it. It can wait. Matter fact, you don’t even have to get one for its a life long decision in most cases. Think of it as a style you’ll forever have to wear (if its visible). I personally couldn’t live with that.
P.S: the front desk “manager” is beyond rude. Literally threw my whole vibe off from this place. I will not ever recommend anyone to this shop simply cause of his mannerisms.

I make an appointment in advance with Osmany Ponce aka “El Muelle” right before a trip, I was waiting for him for days since his work is nice, he told me he will text me after he finish a tattoo he was doing, but he never texted me, I try to call him several times because I was flying the next day and I want to get my tattoo before that, I never received a text or call from him at least to let me know that he was tired or can’t do it, he just ignore my calls like he didn’t care about the fact that I was waiting for him. There’s so many great artists that appreciate that you look for their art. Same work as others + unprofessionally = You can go somewhere else.
