Great tattoo shop with lots of diverse gift shop options; I l especially loved the hand carved birdhouses and lighthouses. Al is a very talented tattoo artist who made my first tattoo a joy. I will definitely go back for another tattoo from Al.

Al may be a great tattoo artist, but he is NOT a good piercer. I went in to get my eyebrow done in May. First of all he told me he couldn't put it where I wanted him to - because of "health hazards", it would "block" my vision, more likely to get infected, etc... all false, just made a lot of excuses, something I've noticed piercers do when they know they can't do the piercing in question but still want your business anyway. Then, he took ten minutes just to get the clamp on - and it was very painful the whole time, which it should NEVER be. He used a very long bar (you're supposed to have a smaller bar in the beginning so it won't move around as much and slow the healing process down) that was a very low-quality metal. He did the piercing way too shallow, and didn't really give me much aftercare instruction at all. As a result, the piercing didn't heal right and I had to have surgery to have a keloid removed that could have been avoided. Please, please just go anywhere else for your piercing purposes!

I have been in twice, once for jewellery replacement and then for a septum piercing. Not sure why i was so nervous. It was a breeze. Very professional, clean shop and overall great experience!

My kid recently got Al to tattoo a bible verse on her side without me knowing so today she came to me very upset and showed me the work that Al did and I was horrified. The lines are very shakey and have no consistency and that's not the worst part, he misspelled words,used capital letters when lower case letters should have been used, and mixed cursive with standard letters!! I called him and right off the RIP he was rude.. My opinion is this... if you are a professional then you should stand behind your work, you should never use excuses to try justifying a terrible job.So if you want to get a pick and poke prison tattoo and pay premium prices for your tattoo then I highly recommend this guy. If you want a quality tattoo from a professional then I definitely recommend you stay away from Expressions.

My overall experience was a 10 out of 10 in my book. This was my first tattoo and through the process; everything was explained if I had a question. Very friendly people and great service. Lots of galleries containing tattoos from all sorts of tastes. When I come back to the state of Florida to visit family; I will visit for some more ink.
