My husband and I came in to get matching robot tattoos before he deploys. Anna Mack was a great and professional artist. This establishment is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. The tattooists are all really nice. Its a great environment.

I should clarify. When I said $100 for 10-30 minutes total, that was talking about each tattoo, for tattooing time. Mine definitely took longer because it was painful for me, and that did cause me to move, 30 minutes tops. But my husband didn’t move once, and his tattooing time was not more than 10 minutes.
You’re right. We did make an appointment and didn’t keep it because we had a fun night out and were excited about getting the tattoo, so we wanted to get it done. I texted you privately and apologized for not keeping the original appointment and for how the situation happened and caused an issue.
Price should have been agreed upon before. On both sides. When it wasn’t, the conversation we had with Jesus up front (which you weren’t a part of) started with us just genuinely questioning the reason for that price, because yes if we’d be told ahead of time that the work was going to be $100 each, we would’ve mentioned concern about it then. You’ve mentioned multiple times that we were drunk or “hammered” and I mentioned feeling like that price was set because of that. You say you would work in people’s budgets, but when we initially asked about the price there was no budging. He only agreed to take the $90 each after we said that’s we were willing to pay. I was already on FaceTime as you mentioned, so I didn’t start calling people, I asked the friend we were already speaking to. I then called and asked the friend who recommended you to us too, because we wanted to make sure we weren’t out of line. We wanted to make sure we weren’t being unreasonable in feeling like that price wasn’t fair. I’m sorry you feel that was so disrespectful, but I was doing that to make sure we weren’t treating your shop unfairly. I’m also sorry if someone leaves a negative review, your response is to say they also get a 1 star review. It’s disappointing that a business would respond to customer concerns that way.
As a customer we felt it was important to mention the need to clarify price beforehand and the response we received when that wasn’t done. That was our main and only issue, so I will also add for the sake of giving a full review that up until this point, the work Jesus did was great. The script was beautiful and I know he had to work around me moving in pain. I’m sorry that when we felt the need to question the charge because my husband’s larger and more intricate tattoo on his left shoulder - which was done there - was only $140, that made us such a problem. That’s why we questioned the price and we were upset with the response to that, plain and simple.

They wanted to charge us $100 each for work that took 10-30 minutes total. One word. “Always” on each of us. Price should have been discussed before and wasn’t but we did not ever think it would be that much; especially when one took 10 minutes and it was one word in simple script with no embellishments, because the shop minimum was $60. Ribs or not, we were shocked when they said $200 after the tattoos were done. When we weren’t happy about the $100 each charge, since we’ve had other tattoos more intricate and more timely that cost almost the same amount, we even offered to pay $180 ($90 each). Jesus took that amount from us, but then said he had never ever been so disrespected and he hoped we never came back. And as we were leaving an employee said “have fun getting tattooed anywhere else.” I feel like it was poorly handled and they tried to take advantage of us because they thought we were drunk on a Saturday night. Having been and had friends who were tattooed here, I’m sorry to say we will never come back.

Had a fantastic experience with Nick. He drew exactly what I wanted the first time, asked all the right questions. Had 3 very large flowers done on most of my upper arm and it looks fantastic! Great shading. Really nice guy who put up with my shenanigans. PS- don't go in with a spray tan! Will be returning to Nick for the rest of my pieces 🌺🌸💮🧚

I had a great experience at Death or Glory. My mom and I got tattoos yesterday and both turned out exactly what we wanted if not better. They were organized, professional, clean, and great at what they do which is exactly what you want at a tattoo shop. My mom got a palm tree silhouette tattoo, which Lee did a great job doing, taking the time to make it detailed and thoughtful even though it was smaller. I got a tropical design by "No fun Nik" and he took my pictures and ideas I brought and made it into exactly what I wanted. He did the whole thing in one sitting even though I was a walk-in and it was pretty detailed which I really appreciated. This has been by far my best tattoo, both in quality and experience, and I would highly recommend Death or Glory tattoo parlour for your next tattoo!
