Fatty's Tattoos & Piercings H Street

Got my first piercing (septum) here, and they did a great job! Quick and very little pain. It’s been a few hours and I’ve had no bleeding or extreme discomfort. I typically have a hard time around needles, but the process was so quick that I didn’t even have time to get worked up over it! Very professional and very kind.

I’ve been getting my tattoos done here by stef for the past year. In total 5 pieces. She did my first tattoo and she made me feel confident in her work. The first appointment I ever had setup was awful, I had came at the time specified only to be ignored for an hour and then find out that she had booked over me. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued to come back. Recently had an appointment for 11/20 @ 1pm. Took off the entire day for nothing. I got there and was told to wait outside because she had not arrived yet. I waited for 30 minutes outsides and the next 30-45 minutes in my car. All the while sending her messages to see if something changed. Did not hear back until around 6 pm that she just “didn’t feel good”. We agreed to reschedule for today (11/23) @ 1 pm. I sent her a message to verify (I travel 30+ mins to her) she reached out @ 3 am claiming she won’t be able to give me an appointment again. She is a good artist but lacks a lot of professionalism. As someone who doesn’t just have any free time and has to make time for her mistakes in rescheduling it’s not worth it to keep going back and forth.

Brian was an absolute professional, extremely kind & accommodating, and insanely talented tattoo artist. Can’t recommend enough!!

Overrated. The artists are decent but they all do down payments that are pretty steep and will not give it back for any reason. My artist rescheduled twice and then showed up late asking $850 for a 3.5 hr black and white tattoo. Honestly there are a lot better shops in DC that have better artists, better practices, and also have a better price.

Update: they called me a troll for this review and refused me service as a result.

Incredible experience!! Quick responses online when scheduling, and Kyle has a very calming presence. My nose piercing fell out and half closed over 2 days, and Kyle put one back in. I barely felt it, and it’s now better than my original piercing. Price felt very fair too. I will say that I would’ve loved a way to schedule an appointment online without having to message, but overall it was a great experience and I would/will recommend this place!

Brian was by far the best tattoo artist I've worked with. He took extra effort to make my image come to life. I would definitely go back to Brian in the future.

Met with Brian to do an elbow piece and it came out absolutely fantastic. Chill dude who was great to work with while listening to my ideas and giving me input on what would look good. Appreciated his attention to detail in a tricky location and will definitely be going back for more!

Just got my second tattoo from Brian at Fatty's and he exceeded all of my expectations, as usual. Definitely recommend Fatty's. Can't wait until the next one!

Brian is a terrific tattoo artist who did a phenomenal job at fatty's H St. location! There's no one else I'd rather have done the tattoo! Extreme attention to detail, friendly, and clear interest in his clients/ work. Great experience and I can't wait to come back for more!

Friendly front of the house that helped me pick out pieces (forgot your name but thanks dude!), and just amazing service. Kyle did an amazing job on my ears, and has done 4 of my 10 piercings. Will def have him pierce more.
