My experience with Brian was great! I was only in the DC area for a limited amount of time on leave, but I had a consultation with Brian on a Thursday and he was able to fit me in his schedule before I left a few days later(on New Year’s Day). I really appreciated his flexibility. He was so dedicated we ended up staying pretty late to finish, and I am very happy with the beautiful tattoo he gave me. I have been complimented countless times on it and I feel great every time I look in the mirror. It was as painless as I could have hoped for, and it still looks amazing now that it’s healed. I look forward to working with him again in the future!

Kyle at the H Street location is SO wonderful. I submitted a request to make an appointment for two more ear piercings. He responded super quickly to set the appointment. When I arrived, he was welcoming and helpful picking out my new pieces. He walked through everything he was going to do step by step and was seriously such a joy. The piercings are perfect and my experience was phenomenal. I’ll 100% be back to Kyle again.

Had a wonderful experience with Brian. I met with him for a consultation on a Saturday and he was able to fit me in the following weekend. His attention to detail was amazing. When the first sketch he presented didn’t match what I wanted he went back with patience until it matched up. I really appreciated his guidance and advice as to placement as this was my first tattoo. He is very communicative and was a wonderful artist to work with. Highly recommend Brian!

I got a tattoo from Brian Buckles and absolutely loved it! I submitted an inquiry online and then had to go into the shop for a consultation on a Saturday. Since what I was getting was on the smaller side, Brian was actually able to fit me in the following day, on Sunday. Brian made me feel super comfortable, was very communicative, and made sure that I was happy with the sizing and placement. I even forgot to bring my water bottle so Brian was kind enough to grab me some from across the street! I'm super happy with my tattoo (the photo is from right after which is why the surrounding area is red) and I would absolutely see Brian again!

I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from Brian, and I’m already thinking of getting a 4th! He’s incredible. The details are outstanding, and his care is amazing. He really wants to make sure you’re happy with what you’re getting. I’ve gotten so many compliments and have recommended him to a couple people.

Brian was awesome! He was very accommodating with our schedule, and super patient as we changed tattoo design ideas and sizing... the end product was exactly what we wanted (or in some cases, better) and super clean with crisp lines! I will definitely be going back.

I got a tattoo from Brian Buckles. He was extremely helpful and worked with me on the spacing of my design. I loved his lettering work on his instagram and he executed my font perfectly. Brian is patient and attentive and took great care with detail. I am so happy with his work and absolutely recommend him!

I just got my piercings done with Mike and it was literally the best. In and out. Super professional. I was able to bring a friend with me. Felt very comfortable. My piercings look great. 100/10 recommend. Would come here again for sure.

I’ve been to see Kyle a few different times for an industrial piercing I had gotten from another shop. I ended up having to get it re-pierced and Kyle was awesome! Each time I’ve met with him, he has been very gentle with my ear and super knowledgeable about how to keep the piercing for the long-term. If you have any piercing concerns, definitely reach out to Kyle!

I’ve now gotten two tattoos from Brian, and am so impressed with his work and his attention to detail. He was wonderful about collaborating and providing creative ideas - would absolutely recommend!
