"A woman owned shop since 2009 Wanting to create an inviting and dynamic shop, owner and tattoo artist, Tina Marabito opened Poppycock Tattoo in Downtown Wilmington, Delaware in December of 2009. The shop, known as a vivacious part of the downtown neighborhood, hosts local group art shows in it's lobby's art gallery, sponsors local events, and attends tattoo conventions. Poppycock Tattoo won the Best of Delaware Upstate Tattoo Shop from 2018 - 2022, plus Big 7 Travel "Best 50 Tattoo Parlours in America". Got my septum pierced here by Eric. Probably some of the best piercing prices in Delaware. Everyone is super nice and knows what they're talking about. They have a huge selection of jewelry as well. Clean environment and tools as well. The shop manager Allison is super rad and the owner Tina is an A+ business owner and tattooer. Definitely worth checking out!!

this place is ah-mazing!!! tina was so awesome every step of the way with answering all questions as well as just being so personable and understanding when choosing the location of the tattoo/moving it around as well as some design tweaks! the price was great considering the high quality of the service and the high quality of the tattoo itself. the place and the equipment were clean/sterile, and i was given the appropriate bandaging & directions afterward. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to get another tattoo, but especially for first-timers! such a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere!

I loved my experience at Poppycock! When I finally decided on a design last winter, Eric was the artist for me. I emailed through the website initially and we worked out an appointment. He took my idea and created a beautiful cover up tattoo on my upper arm and shoulder. Eric was 100% professional from start to finish and an excellent conversationist. The shop itself is entertaining as well, packed with art and oddities. I’m looking forward to having more work done by him this winter.

I just had a tattoo done by Eric. It's my 4th tattoo, but it was by far the easiest and best experience. Eric did an amazing job using my ideas to design the perfect tattoo. The tattoo itself is better than anything I could have imagined. The atmosphere was professional, but also relaxed. I felt at ease getting my first tattoo in 7 years. Tina made the experience pleasant and very professional explaining each step of the procedure. Finally explaining how to take care of the healing process over the upcoming weeks.
