This play is legit cool! They did their own decorating and painting. Its must to check em out! Jay and Axe are super friendly and welcoming! My first upper ear piercing and IT WENT SMOOTH! Till this day, no issues, no infection, no nothing. I'm obsessed. Thank you guys!!!

I've never been to a cleaner establishment. Jay did my half sleeve and it looks amazing, some of the best Ink slinging I've ever seen, Axe has done 3 of my piercings and I'm really happy with the way they turned out! With daily specials, and the best vibe in town i thoroughly recommend 85 South Tattoo!!

Jay and Ax are nothing short of awesome! Even at the last minute they manage to drop everything, literally everything, to fit me in! Jay does excellent work tattooing and Ax is a light handed piercer both are fantastic in their fields. Recommend going here for what you need, give them a call! You won't regret it!

One of the most friendly and professional studios I've had the pleasure of being to. The 80s popculture they have throughout their studio really sets it apart from any of the others in the area. If you haven’t been in the shop yet you need to stop in. The 80’s theme they have going on is excellent. From the original murals to the pac man machine that you can actually play, it is a work of art just going in there. Jay is absolutely amazing!!! He does prefect work and puts so much pride in what he does.

My family has used this shop twice. My daughter was nervous to pierce her ears, but Axe was amazing. She put my daughter at ease, and did a beautiful job. My daughter now wants her nose pierced. We will go back to Axe.
This week I sent J a message that I was ready for him to design my tattoo. I knew the basic idea, but lacked the creativity to design it myself. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. J did such an amazing job, and I can't stop looking at it. The detail is perfect.

My son and I went for tattoos jay tattooed him he got an arm band it was thicker in some spots than other about a inch different in width on the other side definitely going to have to add on to it now to fix it … I was tattooed by Ax …. No one told me she was an apprentice I found out half way through …. I’ve never been in a tattoo shop where someone was still “learning” and not been told …disappointed for sure won’t go back not a bad tattoo but not quality 😭

I first came into the shop with a friend while they got some work done. I was impressed with his work so I decided to make my own appointment for a couple weeks later. I was nervous coming in as this was only my second tattoo, but I was immediately made to feel at home and we easily conversed back and forth on our ideas before getting to work. The line work of my piece is beautiful and sharp and the shading was even better. Can't wait to go back and get another soon. Side note, we listened to some great jams throughout the session and it really made for a great afternoon.
