Todd Showdown

Where to start? 2018 brought me one of the biggest "rock bottoms" of my life, and I somehow survived. I was looking for the "right" artist to create a piece that represented this trial, and my rise from it, and it was such a deeply personal tattoo that held so much meaning for me, I couldn't trust just anyone with. I had been searching out this person for a couple of years, and I am so happy to say, I found him. Todd was an absolute professional from start to finish with this piece. He worked with me to get exactly what I wanted...but actually, it was way better than I could have imagined! I actually cried when I fully saw the finished piece
I hadn't had any major tattoo work done in over 12 years, so I was a little nervous, but Todd's cool and calm demeanor immediately put me at ease. He did a couple short lines first to make sure I was ready, and then we were off! I have seriously never had a tattoo experience that was so "easy". Not only is Todd a great artist, but he's so fun to talk to and he's friggin' HILARIOUS (If he wasn't on this successful tattooing trajectory, I think he'd have a future in comedy). I don't think I've ever laughed so much while getting a tattoo. But his gift for interesting conversation also helped the time fly. For me, that was waaaaay better than sitting in a chair with death metal blasting too loud to talk over, while trying to focus on a crack in the ceiling to take your mind off the pain haha!

I'm forever grateful to him for sharing his talent with me. I couldn't have found a better person for this job. I'm officially obsessed with getting ink again, and I already have another session booked with him for later next year. Give him all your money and let him work his magic, you won't be disappointed!

Todd is an incredible, well-accomplished artist. I appreciate his sincere dedication to his craft, his attention to detail, his painterly influence, including the use of drop shadows, and his willingness to make a piece that resonates and renders beautifully in both the physical realm, and on the heart.

Todd did a great job putting together tattoos for my friend and I. He was personable, kind, and a joy to be around. 4 years later, our tattoos still look amazing!

Everyday I wake up and wish I had more tank tops to show off the beautiful artwork Todd has done on my arms. I’ve been going to Todd for 4 years now with almost both arms completely covered by him. Anyone I have referred to him, has been more than happy with the work. The tattoos look even better than expected when he’s done. Not only is the artwork great but so is the conversation and laughs. I will continue to have work done by Todd for many years to come!

I cannot recommend Todd enough! He turned my faint idea into an absolute vision and then created a masterpiece. I could not have gone through the pain of such a tattoo without the wonderful conversations he provided. He creates a comfortable space where you feel like you are a part of the art you are receiving on your body. His eye and attention to detail is astounding! Even when getting a precarious part of my body tattoed he made sure I was comfortable and respected the whole process.

I came across Todd when a friend started sharing his daily motivational posts ("you're 10 feet tall and solid gold..."). Yeah, his art is amazing, but tbh we have such a saturated market in CO that these days I shop for my artists based on who I'm curious about talking to for a few, inevitably painful, hours.
Todd is the right choice on both counts. His art f***s. If you want to discuss music theory while pondering philosophy, Todd is the guy. Only 9 feet tall, but I'm pretty sure he's solid gold.

I moved to Fort Collins about 5 years ago and found him about 4, where I was seeking an artist to begin my leg sleeve. I did two months of thorough research before I even booked an consultation with him.

We discussed pricing, placement, and time during the consultation then proceeded to the chair a week later, which has turned into the last 4 years. Always professional but still feels like an old friend I haven’t seen in a while every appointment. He has an extremely gentle hand, offers breaks for whenever you need, and is remarkable with attention to detail. Guaranteeing quality over quantity.

It would be a disservice not to boast Todd for his amazing work he’s ever done for me. I get stopped all the time and I make people pull up his Instagram handle the moment they ask who did it. The only downfall I think is that he’s so talented I no longer can book out a month in advance, it’s more like 7-10, haha. So plan accordingly so you can get your spot and don’t skip out on your appointment :)

Todd is not only a great person, but a even better tattoo artist. He’s patient, fair on price and every tattoo has healed perfectly. He’s a true artist who cares enough to do it right.
