I worked with Jessica for my first tattoo, and was blown away by the quality of her work. Jessica took the time to make sure I had a great design, and did an amazing job on the tattoo. I would highly reccomend Heart & Skin for any tattoo needs!

I have been tattooed twice at Heart and Skin and absolutely love both pieces. I worked with Vanessa both times and she created absolutely amazing art. The first tattoo she did was a matching sisters tattoo that was on a time crunch. She was so kind to fit us in to her schedule. She was very meticulous about sanitizing and having a clean environment and I love the layout of the studio with the separate rooms.

I don't know if maybe she just didn't like me very much or if I possibly did something wrong, but my second time seeing her the vibe was off. My sister came with me and wanted a quick video to send to my mom, but Vanessa kind of snapped at us about videos. I personally didn't read or see anything that said no videos (I could have totally missed it), but she was very harsh. I got a tattoo behind my ear and once finished she sent me off without any aftercare advice. About a week later she emailed me and checked in, to which I responded with some questions about how to take care of my new tattoo behind the ear. I never heard back from her and was kind of upset.

While I love the pieces and have given out tons of cards, I felt like the vibes while being tattooed were not has comfortable and welcoming as I have experienced at other tattoo shops. That being said I know we are all humans so it could be something I did or just an off day. I am so grateful for the tattoos I received and how beautiful they are and of course recommend anyone to go here.

Vanessa is an amazing artist. My tattoo with her was my best experience yet. She listened to every detail I asked for and produced a tattoo better than had dreamed of. The private rooms offer a calm experience different than that of open floor shops. I would recommend this shop and Vanessa specifically to anyone looking for a quality tattoo.

Vanessa did a fantastic job on my tattoo. She's kind, creative, and easy to work with. The shop is clean and welcoming. Vanessa exceeded my expectations in every way. This was the best tattoo experience I've had. I can't recommend her enough!

I got a tattoo reworked by Caleb. He went above and beyond to create the piece I wanted. He made me feel super comfortable, gave me the breaks I needed, played music I liked, and followed up after my appointment to make sure everything was going well. This was easily one of the best tattoo experiences I've ever had.

Jamie took a vague idea of a tattoo I wanted and executed it perfectly. Super chill dude, it was a relaxing experience for me. I am super happy with my new art and I would absolutely go back! If you are looking for botanical/nature ink I highly recommend.
