West Side Tattoo

I’ve lived in the Springs for three years and have always driven by their beautiful business without going in. Today, that changed as myself and two others were tattooed as walk-ins. This place was clean, friendly, and well laid out with an inviting atmosphere. Our artist, Clayton Girst, was amazing. He took our ideas and made little tweaks to make them our own and quickly went to work. He was fast, precise, and talkative the whole time. He made the time we were there feel like it flew by with how professional and energetic he was. I would recommend West Side Tattoo to anyone looking for a new piece, their first piece, or reasonably priced ink for fantastic work. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Wear Side Tattoo is amazing and made me feel at home the minute I walked in. They were very nice, personable and were able to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday! Zach was so fun to work with for my tattoo and was able to create a beautiful personalized piece that was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks Zach! Such a great place and atmosphere! I highly recommend and will be back!

Overall I am extremely happy with my tattoo. This is my second tattoo, first from this shop. Hannah Shea was kind, took her time, made sure I was comfortable with everything, and followed the artwork I had commissioned from Etsy. I chose her specifically because of her line work and shading techniques, and she delivered! I would highly recommend her!

The reason for the minus one star is that communication beforehand could have been better and it would have been nice to have a chance to chat with the artist (even a 5 minute phone call) or have a consultation before coming in so we could have a better understanding from the get-go, but I don’t think that falls on the artist and maybe the shop itself could facilitate that. At least, that’s how it was for my first tattoo experience elsewhere. Here, they see your request online, and the receptionist consults with the artist on your behalf, then sets up your appointment and takes a deposit. It’s not a bad system and I’m sure they gets hundreds of requests every day. It would just be nice to speak to the artist a little before the appointment. I would still recommend West Side to anyone looking for a high quality tattoo!!

I had my artist Clayton do one tattoo for me and touch up on an old one. He was so awesome! Super cool and easy to talk to, Always made sure I felt comfortable and talked things through with me. I started feeling light headed at one point and he knew right away and got me a juice box everything! I would absolutely choose him again for my next ideas and Cant wait to come back!

Place is very clean. Music is good. Everyone is Professional. Price is spot on for the work they do.

Great tattoo shop staffed with awesome artist and professionals! I’m from Texas visiting Colorado Springs and will most definitely return to West Side Tattoo for additional tattoos!

Staff are super friendly and my artist Barron is the best. He was super patient and very nice. I think he did an amazing job and look forward to my next session. Overall the experience was super pleasurable and I will definitely be going back.

I had the pleasure of having Sasha as my artist, and she did an amazing job especially since this was my first tattoo. She answered all the questions I had and made sure to check with me and how I was doing the entire process. I am grateful that she was my artist and I will definitely be returning for more.

I had my first tattoo with Vicky today and she was great! I felt very welcomed and she was able to do all that I requested and asked of her. She was very nice & helpful + the tattoo came out looking awesome. Her lines are super straight and the work was 10/10 I’d definitely recommend her!

Zach was very patient, kind and professional. I was nervous about my rib tattoo but he made me feel like I could pause as much as I needed which gave me the confidence to push through it and not pause at all! Very clean shop too. All in all a fantastic experience and I’ll definitely be visiting again for another tattoo
