Smokey Banana Tattoo

Was able to walk in and get a tattoo without an appointment which was nice, but the artist had a heavy hand and made mistakes. I'm not a newbie to being tatted, just sharing my experience.

Great experience having my 9 year old daughter's ear lobes pierced. I called ahead and was told everything I needed to know, and that the piercing specialist would be there when we drove over in 40 minutes. They have a place for children to wait with coloring books. The staff is amazing and friendly. My daughter could select her surgical steel ear rings, and the piercing specialist was so good, explained everything clearly to her ahead of time, and put my daughter at ease. I'm going here with my other daughter when she is older, and will refer my friends here. Don't go to Claire's and get a piercing gun, go to a professional!

My sister and I went to get piercings today. Everyone in the shop was nice and patient while we decided colors/placement/etc. Meredith did a great job, they all turned out wonderful. Thanks!

Love this place! After a rude and unprofessional piercing (inksmith) in Louisville I was literally worried and a little afraid to go back when the ball fell off my still healing pierce. Smiling, friendly staff helped me choose reasonably priced jewelry (inksmith charged 50 for a single tiny stone as they were “out” of all under 50 studs🙄)”. My daughters piercings done here Look great and healed beautifully and we will NEVER go anywhere else! You guys are awesome and so friendly and helpful! Thank you! See you soon for tats!

Meredith was really nice and explained everything which made me feel comfortable and safe! I got my daith done and it’s absolutely perfect, the placement is exactly where I wanted along with a good amount of jewelry to choose from!

I have had a daith piercing done by Ana in December, and a tattoo by Meridith a year ago. This shop is clean and knowledgeable. Ana was an excellent piercer, I’ve also seen her work first hand which is amazing. Meridith actually did my tattoo which Ana had drawn, she did a great clean job. Planning on going back.

I got a tattoo about a week ago at Smokey Banana and I am happy to say I am extremely pleased with it! Jonah was my tattoo artist and he was very kind and patient with me. At first, my vision for this tattoo was a little different but it was also incomplete. I’m glad Jonah gave me his professional input and designed something that was a work of art rather then just a clustered tattoo like I initially envisioned. He did an amazing job and the shading is exactly what I was looking for. It’s feminine, realistic, and it represents who I am and I’m absolutely in love with it! Thank you Jonah and the Smokey banana team! I will be back for more.

Meredith is awesome! Really professional and approachable and made me feel super comfortable as it was my first time. Love the work she done, will definitely be going back and highly recommend her. Pricing was very reasonable too.

I have been here twice for lobe piercings and I absolutely love them. I gave 4 stars only because I have only had piercings no tattoos (although I have considered trying them for a tattoo). They are very nice and welcoming and helped me with every step of the piercing from jewelry to after care. I would recommend them for piercings most definitely. If I decided to get a tattoo from them, I will rewrite the review!!
