I don't care what anyone says... Big Easy Tattoo is the place to go! While I can't say anything about the other artists there, though I'm certain their work is amazing, Ryan is FANTASTIC!
I also got my sleeve done here, which is beautifully detailed, intricate and just all around awesome, by Paul who unfortunately doesn't work there anymore :(
If you want legit ink that will look gorgeous stop by BET and talk with Ryan, nicest guy ever and he'll make sure you walk out happy with your new ink.
Plus these guys don't tack on a $40 set-up fee...

Danie, Isaac, and Ryan are all great and talented people. Coming in to get work done is always a blast and a great distraction from the needle.
Make an appointment or schedule a consultation if you're planning on getting a tattoo. They are busy because they do good work.

This place lived up to it's reviews. I was slightly hesitant because the shop doesn't have a super functional website at the time of writing this... but I decided to follow my gut and listen to the other reviewers of this shop. I got three piercings done with Isaac and couldn't be happier.

How hard could a simple 4-leaf clover be? I chose this shop because they had great reviews and they were closer to home than the shop I'd used previously. I went in with a drawing of the very simple shamrock I wanted in the size I wanted. I was told it would be no problem but I couldn't go any smaller on the size (it was about the size of a nickel), which I was fine with. When I went in for my appointment, I was told the artist (Greg?) was downstairs having a quick beer. I questioned it, but was assured he would be fine, he was just recovering from a 4-hour session. I should have left then and there, but I thought, "How hard could a simple shamrock be?". When the artist arrived, he went on and on about all of the celebrities he'd done work on, but didn't ask me any questions about what I wanted. I gave him my drawing, but he didn't trace it - just free-hand drew it on my wrist. He didn't ask me how I thought it looked, and had to bring up that I thought it was a little too big (it was just larger than quarter-size). He told me it couldn't be any smaller. Again, I should have left. Now I have a crappy-looking tattoo that looks nothing like the drawing I came in with (shape is different, shading is crap - looks more like three different colored stripes-see uploaded picture on Google). A month later I spoke with the owner to address my issues and the fact that there were big spots of color missing. He told me he'd have to see it. When I went in, he told me that the color wouldn't stay well because of the tattoo's placement. It is well below my wrist crease and I've been told by several other tattoo artists that the placement has nothing to do with the bad coloring. The owner reluctantly said I could come back and he would fix it if I wasn't happy, but with his poor attitude, I felt like he didn't really care and I didn't want him working on me if he didn't care. I really regret not leaving when I started to feel uncomfortable in the first place, and I was really disappointed with their lack of friendliness and professionalism. I had to pay to get what looks like a cheesy St. Patrick's day sticker covered up, but at least I don't have to cover up an embarrassing tattoo anymore.

Issaac the Tatooist/Piercer is a great personable professional. His shop is clean and comfortable. He is very knowledgeable about his craft. We where made to feel at home. We will return to his shop for future business.
