Black Widow is an amazing place to get tattoos. I can't recommend them enough to anyone if you want some ink. Piercings however is a completely different story. I went in to have my septum pierced and it ended horribly. Krystal had me sit on the table and I guess the clamp wasn't placed right so when she went to slowly pierce the septum I flinched. She ended up piercing the infratip layer of my nose instead of the "sweet spot". This was over a week ago now and I'm still heartbroken by it. So much so that I can't go back to have it redone. Had I been laying down or sitting in a chair with my head back, would I have flinched back the way I did? Had the clamp been in the right spot would I have flinched at all? All of these questions were answered by two other professional piercers who agree that the fault is not on me and that my piercing was poorly executed. Again, I want to say that this is an amazing studio and they are amazing artists, just go elsewhere for your piercings.

We go to black widow for tattoos and are very happy but on this trip we went for piercings. We brought in our 9 year old for ear piercings and Krystal was so patient with our very hesitant daughter. We were so grateful for that. Unfortunately when she did my tongue piercing it went in quite sideways. It wasn't something I could live with so I went back. She did not have a problem re piercing it but getting my tongue pierced twice sucked. Krystal was so kind but she did not seem to have the experience and/or talent you want when piecing something. I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Got my daughters belly button pierced. I also wanted to see the tattoo area and work. They are very clean and do amazing work. A huge shoutout to the lady that pierced Emys belly button! I will get all my work done here.

I’m so impressed with this place!!! I ❤️ My daughter went on her 18th bday and was really impressed with her experience there so I decided I’d give them a shot too. It was perfect. Was researching tattoo shops in the area near my house and came across the amazing reviews for Black Widow. I had driven by several times but never stopped in. I went by to get an idea about a quote for a portrait of my dog and was instantly quoted 300! I thought it would be way more so when I am ready for that one I am for sure going back. But while I was there I had James finish my Fleur De Lis New Orleans Saints logo that another artist had started somewhere else but never had finished. He was awesome listened to how i wanted it had me look over it to see if I wanted more ink added. So professional and a great artist and nice dude overall. All the guys at this shop made me feel right at home will be going back soon so I can have Rudy do My Dog's portrait and will be going back to James for more as well.
