I've been seeing Jason for the last 5 years or so. Followed him across shops to this new location. He always takes my ideas and runs with it! Here is the most recent piece I've had done by him (1/30/21). So colorful and exactly what I was looking for. Time, including set up/clean up, was roughly 4 hours.

We went here because the artist Darren has deals on his page. He's really chill and understanding. We went for a tattoo for my husband and then 3 days later for a friend to get his first tattoo. If you're looking to get tattooed, I would say go here and see Darren or Elvis. They are chill guys and can do exactly what you want to decorate your body 😂

Elvis did a great job with our craziness and squeezed in everyone in our group in one day. Super cool guy and beautiful work.

Darren Smith is an amazing artist. My tattoo was better than what I expected. Also he has a good hand the tattoo was almost painless. Definitely recommend him for anyone looking for good ink work.

my sisters and i went to this tattoo shop last friday, to get ear piercings. both my sisters and i ended up having horrible experiences. the piercer that we had (a lady with a bad attitude) right off the bat was very rude and you could tell she didn’t want to be there anymore. my sister and i got our cartilage pierced and our tragus pierced, and for the tragus, the piercer put in the wrong jewelry. she was supposed to put in a curved bar, and instead input a straight bar, that was meant for the lip. on top of that she didn’t not tighten the ball at all and it ended up falling out today. the piercer was supposed to have us lie down on the chair while piercing our tragus and she had us sitting up the whole time, and did not even tell us how to care for our piercings when we left. today when my ball fell out, i decided to go to another tattoo shop to get it fixed, and i decided to go to good neighbor tattoo in san marcos, and thank god i did. Anisa was my piercer here and she was literally the best. she immediately told me everything wrong with the piercing i had gotten and she gave me my options on how to fix it. she ended up putting a curved earring in my tragus, and helped me to clean up the infection i had a little bit. i highly recommend going to her to get any piercing because she was amazing. it literally did not hurt nearly as bad as it did when i initially got it pierced. she made everything clear that she was doing and you could tell she loved her job and cares about her clients. before going to dermal grafix, please consider going to good neighbor tattoo first. you won’t regret it.

Jason did an outstanding job of my tattoo of skulls in a pot. He knew exactly what I was going for and gave great tips and advice on placement and future references for a sleeve. Love him & this place! :)

I had a great experience and very pleased with the results. Elvis created a magnificent masterpiece and blew me away. In love with my rising Phoenix. My only regret is not finding them sooner.
