I've gotten two piercings by shawn and my daughter (14) has as well. He has always been extremely professional. Makes everyone feel at home and comfortable. I always recommend Shawn to anyone needing a piercing done. Hands down the best in Bakersfield!

Shawn is the only one I trust to do any piercings on anyone. He recently pierced my oldest son’s ears and was very professional, hygienic and helpful. I really appreciate that Shawn will not pierce without ID and student ID and birth certificate of my son tying us all together. Shawn pierced my nose a few years ago and I loved it. This past Saturday I went to get both of my daiths pierced. Prior to going across town I had messaged Shawn to confirm hours and availability. Shawn is reliable and respects everyone’s time so if he says he’s going to be down there. He is. I was nervous but Shawn doesn’t waste time letting the hype get to a person and makes sure you know how to take care of your piercings before you leave. Saturday I went in with a headache that I’ve learned to live with having them more often than not. Between anxiety and fibromyalgia, I tend to get a lot of tension in my head, jaw, neck and shoulders. II couldn’t believe it, after one side was done I had immediate relief. So much so that I felt lighter. Like weights were lifted from my shoulders. It’s Tuesday and I still feel amazing. It is so worth it and I highly recommend Shawn. Again. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with a piercing especially a piercing I was hoping to get relief from. I’m still amazed at the results. And they look awesome. Thank you Shawn!!!

I've gotten a tattoo from oz, and I recommended him to my cousin who also go one on her foot. Love my tattoo. I also had my husband go in. He got his done by Justin james and it came out great. Very nice guys. I definitely recommend this place. The atmosphere, the receptionist, and the artists are all amazing and friendly.

After suffering with migrane headaches for about a year, I learned of a procedure called the Daith Piercing Treatment. I had tried medication, chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture help without success. When a hospital staff employee told me that Shawn at Third Energy Tattoo & Piercing could help me, I contacted him. After reading and hearing about other clients who who found relief from daith piercing performed by Shawn, I made the decision to drive over four hours to have the procedure. Shawn was so kind and caring that I trusted him immediately, and I liked his jewelry collection. When the piercing was completed, I was amazed that my headache was immediately gone. That night I slept with no pain. It was comforting, also, that Shawn messaged me to check on my well-being. The trip was worth my time, and I continue to be amazed at the awesome results.

Friendly staff and the girl who pierced my ears was VERY informative and answered all my questions. And they even give you a travel sized soap after your visit with them. Will definitely be returning for other piercings!

I went into the shop looking to get a daith piercing with Shawn. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and treated like family. The shop was clean, just the right volume of music where you could still enjoy what was playing and have a conversation. Shawn introduced himself, we talked about what I wanted and he got to work. We were chatting and I was like ok, when we gonna start and then I realized he was done. I walked in there with a 8 (pain scale) headache and walked out basically pain free. Shawn was very courteous and explained after care and he gave me a business card with his # and said call anytime if you have any problems. Today I woke with no headache for the first time since April! Thank you Shawn your amazing.
