I can't speak for this place's tattoo work, however I can say that their piercings are terrible. I got a normal lobe piercing here and about 5 minutes AFTER getting the piercing I blacked out. They assured me that it was normal and gave me a free coke to help me get on my feet again. Although the gesture was very kind of them, the person who pierced my ears was being very passive aggressive as if they were trying their best to get me to leave. A few weeks later I noticed the skin around one of my ears turning a light green, so I took off the earrings and gave my ears a thorough clean. When I went to put the earring back on I noticed that the paint/plating was coming off, and after a light scrub I realized that the "hypogenic" earring they sold me were not surgical steel like they said, but actually copper or some other metal.
TLDR: Rude and neglectful staff, and low quality fake hypogenic earrings. I would never recommend getting something pierced here.

I went in to get my nipple done and the staff were great. They all seemed professional and talented and the guy who pierced me was very gentle. I got it done for 40 with a stainless steel barbell included and was very happy with it. Check it out if you're in the area.

After an extensive search for an artist that specializes in Asian Realism I contacted My Tattoo approximately 2-3 years ago to set up a consultation appointment. Andy responded promptly and made the meeting happen with Jess. Why did I decide to have a tattoo by Jess Yen? Simple, I want the best.
Years later I am still coming to the shop roughly 4-6 times a year to finish my piece, which is coming beautifully. Residing in San Francisco makes it somewhat difficult at times however I always try to make it when there is an opening whether it is at the shop in Alhambra, Huntington Beach, or a convention. Not only is the environment very relaxed the people are amazing. The entire shop- Man, Lucy, Andy, Kohei, Mario, Damien, Alex, Will, Duy are all extremely welcoming and ridiculously talented. Because of the large piece there has many late nights filled with laughs and stories at the shop.
I came in expecting to meet an amazing tattoo artist and getting a bit of work done but have grown to see everyone as extended family. They just so happen to be amazing tattoo artists.
