The process to schedule my appointment was easy. Conveying my idea to Chris of what I wanted was convenient he was very professional before I showed up for my appointment. I had arrived 10 min late. Chris was there waiting and assured me that it was no big deal. He knew I was coming from out of town. I like to respect peoples time so I was very apologetic. The shop is very clean, doctors office clean. I spent 6 or so hours getting my work done. I can say that it flew by. His quality of work is superb and his ability to make you feel like part of the family is uncanny. Just from the sheer quality I would give 6 stars. But the experience is something that can't be measured. Thank you Chris. I will be returning.

Love this studio. Clean. Professional. Great high quality pieces of art. Chris has done all of my pieces for a little over 5 years and I couldn’t be happier. The artists not only take pride in there own work, but also each other’s work. Love the environment. Mrs. Joy is always waiting at the door with a smile. Above all what I appreciate about this shop is honesty. No BS. Straight forward. I’ve never had to compromise. Chris has worked with me through a full sleeve and two chest pieces. I’ve left every session with a high quality piece of art that I’m proud to wear.

Got my first tattoo here yesterday and I’m very happy with it. The artist, Kendall won’t hesitate to tell you like it is, but he’s super chill and does his best to get you what you want. I was really nervous but everyone there was nice and hilarious; it made for a really good experience!!

Just got another tattoo this one in memory of my dad who use to deliver ice for living. Amy was amazing. Its exactly what I wanted . Beautiful detail a perfect tribute to my dad.( its a nice tong with an ice cube ) Chris Kendal Joy Amy all are amazing kind talented super nice and always professional. Got my first tattoo from Kendal and he was very determined to make sure my tattoo would look great now and in 10 years from now. I showed him a small detailed tattoo and he said it is way too small and it would not look good in a few years. He enlarged it to the size it should be (tiny tattoos ruin quickly with age when the ink blurs under the skin). Of course I didn’t know this and any other tattoo place would just take my money and do it. He ensured me that Golden Lotus would not give a tattoo if they knew it would not be a good one. He was of course stern and serious about his art (people easily find this rude and get offended) but I trusted his skill and intelligence in this field of work. The tattoo came out exactly how I wanted! He was kind and helpful and I will definitely continue to use them for the rest of my tattoos. Very talented and truthful people!

I have more than a dozen tattoos. Some black and gray and some color, and all large pieces. Every one of them was done by Chris Thomas. He is the owner of Golden Lotus and an award winning tattoo artist. In my opinion as far as Arkansas tattoo artists go, Chris is the best of the best. I would never go to anyone else for my tattoos. Please keep in mind that while yes it is your body, it is also the art of that tattoo artist that is being put on display. Once you have received a tattoo, you essentially become a “walking billboard” for that tattoo artist. People will see your tattoos and they will ask you who did the artwork. Based on whether the tattoo is good or bad effects whether they are asking where to go or where NOT to go. No tattoo artist worth going to will be willing to put their name and reputation on a bad tattoo. Believe it or not this is a GOOD thing. It means they actually care about the art and not just making a buck. Remember when looking to get a tattoo that the men and women who do the tattoos are the artist. You are not. Trust them when they tell you the best way to turn your idea in to a great tattoo that will wear well over time. Chris and his team will never put their name and reputation on a bad idea. If you want the best, go to the best and that is Golden Lotus Tattoo Studio. If you are only interested in getting your way, go somewhere else and remember Golden Lotus when you realize you were wrong and are ready for your “cover up” tattoo. Golden Lotus tattoo Studio is a clean tattoo shop with a great atmosphere and truly professional tattoo artists. Walk in with an open mind and a willingness to listen to the artist and you will walk out with a top quality tattoo!!!

Over priced also be prepared to pay taxes on your tattoo. I've had many never had to pay taxes

I've always had respect for these artists! They literally put so much time and effort into the tattoos to make sure you have a custom piece that exceeds your expectations! They have done 3 of my pieces, and I get complements on them all the time! I'm so happy with the work Chris Thomas did! Whenever it's time for my next one, I know Chris will take good care of me!

THIS place is awesome! Kendall did a tattoo on my foot about two years ago. The shop is the cleanest and most organized shop I've ever been in.

Chris did a large piece on my husband's back last year. My husband couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Al communities from both Chris and Kendal was very professional. They both ensured we were happy with the designs they had created based on mine and my husband's expectations. They ensured we understood what they thought would look good and what would not. AT NO TIME WERE EITHER RUDE OR CONDESENDING.

I have recommended this shop to all of my family and friends. My best friend and I have actually decided when we get our matching tattoos she and I will be using Chris and Kendall.

I have had one 4 hour sitting with Nick so far. He is a truly talented artist, the tattoo turned out looking phenomenal! I have to say that the place is clean, it is a very well kept shop.

I have seen another user complain about the prices and attitude of the staff... Nick was and the other artist on that side of the shop were friendly and we all joked around through out my sitting.

The prices are not bad at all! I spent time as an apprentice, and the prices where I worked were comparable, and I am sorry that this needs said, but a good tattoo is not cheap and a cheap tattoo is not good.

If you want to get tattooed in a clean shop by an artist that you can be proud to show off your stuff, you will pay more than you would to a Basement Commando, that is just basic fact.

I will be returning to Nick for more work soon. If you are in the Little Rock area and you want a tattoo that looks amazing... Look no further!
