Gypsy Rose Tattoo

I got a tattoo!! This was the only shop that was willing to accept my sister and I for spur of the moment ink, on my Birthday...39--- feeling fine! And to top it off----- I met a celebrity!!!! @Gypsy Rose tattoo!!!! How random is that?!! I love this place, awesome experience. Thanks so much everybody!!!! Gypsy Rose Tattoo has a very clean shop, with friendly faces to greet you when you arrive for your appointment or have questions about future tattoos. It’s also super well lit with natural lighting which I thought was cool and probably nice for the artist. I personally recommend Nadia or Lloyd, but all the artists there are super friendly and chill! 🤘🏻

Nadia is amazing! She''s been my only artist for about 3 years now, and I will follow her wherever she goes! She's done 4 new tattoos for me, one touch-up, and I'm going in for a 5th tomorrow. In my opinion, her hand is near perfect. Light enough that neither you, nor the colors themselves bleed all over the place, but heavy enough that the color stays and really pops. I've had people tell me the colors are so bright, it looked like someone just drew it on with a marker. I cannot possibly recommend her highly enough. The shop itself is great as well, very clean and welcoming, not the awkward, nervous ambiance that I feel most shops have. Overall, this place is awesome, and if you're looking for a first time place, or just a new shop, trust me, this is the one!

A RELAXED AND PROFESSIONAL VIBE
It all starts with the first phone call or email. How do they sound? Do they sound helpful and interested? Are they polite and kind? When you get to the shop, how does it feel when you walk in? Do you immediately take a deep breath and relax, or do you feel yourself on edge? Do they say “hello” and welcome you? All of these little things will tell you how they run their shop—and it shows how seriously they take their profession. If they take the time to get to know you, answer questions, listen to your ideas and make you feel relaxed, it’s a sure sign of a great shop. GYPSY ROSE TATTOO has all of the above, AND Clean, friendly, Accommodating, the owner is a super nice guy.
I have two sons and a husband. Tad gave my son his first tattoo recently- he was awesome. Gypsy Rose will be the only shop we get our work done. We live in the Cottonwood/ Sedona area, and I will be recommending GYPSY to all our friends and our sons friends. Its worth the drive!

Lloyd has been tattooing me for more than 4 years. In him I found a kind, patient, queer friendly, exceptionally talented, funny and honest professional. His work is always something I am proud to have, down to the lil Friday the 13th tattoos I have from him. He has tattooed my head and in addition to executing the process quickly he was vigilant with aftercare, ensuring I was properly caring for the tattoo and okay. I receive compliments everyday on my tattoos, as they look just as good as the day he first tattooed me.

Nadia is amazing! The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I have been to tattoo parlors around the US and Canada, so when I say Gypsy Rose is a great place to get a tat, I know what I'm talking about. The place was impeccably clean, and each artist observed individual cleanliness standards more like a hospital than a tat parlor. Staff were professional and knowledgeable, and the artists went out of their way to make sure each customer understood the permanent nature of the art, as well as getting the art they really wanted, where they wanted it. Whether you're a newbie or an old hand, this is the place for you.

These are the most talented and kind artists I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I regularly go to see Nadia - whose art I aspire to have cover my entire body - and it is genuinely a JOY to spend time there around these amazing people. I raved about them so much that my husband has started going to see Sam there! And I refer every person who asks about my tattoos. I legitimately could not say enough praises for this place.

So my brother came here and got a back/ across the shoulders piece by Lindsay and it turned out great! So we decided we'd get a family piece of a saguaro cactus to represent our time here in Arizona but when my brother told us how quickly she was able to complete his first piece, it made my mom and I alittle uneasy..
But thankfully, just because a tattoo artist is able to go faster than normal, doesn't necessarily mean that affects the quality of the work itself.
And let me tell you, I went first to kinda put my mom's mind at ease so once mine was completed she'd feel alittle better about it and honestly, I was blown away by the final product, like, MIND BLOWN.
On top of that, we asked for color and some thorns after we had already setup the initial design and she was able to complete everything in less than 40 minutes a piece, that's including setup and takedown.
And finally, not only was Lindsay very professional, fun to chat with, and honest with what she was and wasn't comfortable with tattooing, everyone else in the shop was too. They also took all the necessary precautions and more, considering the current situation.
Overall I was very very pleased and impressed.
I DEFINITELY would recommend anybody to come here because even if Lindasy isn't able to do your piece for you, I'm sure somebody else in the shop will be able to.
