Super happy with the end result of my tattoo ! If you’re looking for an experienced artist in the anchorage area I highly highly recommend Warren Oliver ! Especially if you want northern lights ! I’m super amazed at the detail in them ! Would definitely get all my tattoos done by him if I was staying in the area longer !

Warren and Lai are my absolute favorite!! He's done 6 out of the 7 pieces I have and every single one of them is AMAZING and more than I ever could have imagined! Prices are super reasonable and they still reach out after the fact to make sure that things are still going good. You won't find a better tattoo artist or even better couple out there!

Rachel pierced both my nostril and daith while I was living in AK for the summer. I was hesitant at first to go because I had my nose pierced twice elsewhere before I went to here and both times it was not a great experience and didn't end up healing well. Rachel was extremely professional and friendly. She was very helpful and had a great selection of jewelry. The shop was very clean and the receptionist was super nice! She gave me a tour of the whole shop while Rachel was getting set up. They had some snacks and drinks in the waiting area (although I didn't have to wait long for the piercing). A couple months later and my piercings are healing very well. Would definitely recommend Rachel to anyone looking to get pierced, plus her insta is so nice and always inspiring me to get more holes poked in me lol

I would rate my experience at SDI is comparable to that of a 5 star resort. Before the tattoo process even began I was fed the best sandwich I have ever had in my 36 years of existence. I was blown away by not only the hospitality of the shops owners (Warren and Lai) but the knowledge and professionalism of Warren. I feel it would be a disjustice to call this man just an artist. A master of his craft would be more suiting. I never once had to ask for anything. Lai ensured that I had everything to make my experience as pleasent as possible. At one point I noticed that there had been no other customers in the shop, and thats when they explained to me that the shop was mine for the day. Needless to say you get what you pay for and in this case I feel I was undrcharged for this amazing experience.

They gave me a tour of the shop on my first visit and they were very knowledgeable and friendly. First impression was very clean, professional, and they had great style. My tattoo was done quickly and was exactly what I wanted. Definitely satisfied!

Rachael is literally the only person I trust to pierce me. She's so knowledgeable and always explains what she's doing to make sure you understand the procedure. She will also custom or special order pieces from her distributors so that you can be the flyest honey around. She works incredibly hard and it shows through her work and her rapport with her clients!
Warren and Lai are also amazing people and I love seeing them in their business environment. I can't wait to get work done from Warren as it is some of the most detailed work I've ever seen

Would highly recommend SDI Tattoo. Warren and Lai do an amazing job of providing a welcoming shop. They go above and beyond for customers, offering snacks, Netflix, stress balls, or whatever else to help you feel comfortable. Warren works with you until the design is just right, discusses options, and even stays late if needed. All around great place to go.

This shop was amazing! They were able to fit me in for an appointment last minute since I was only in town for a few days. The staff was very friendly and had me laughing almost the whole time. They did a great job explaining to me what to do and expect during the healing process and even personally messaged me a few days later making sure everything was ok.
I definitely plan on coming back in the future for more work. Thank you for making my experience a great one ❤️
