Shade Tattoo Studio

I had a double mastectomy 20 years ago and the plastic surgeon did nipple reconstruction and “tattooing” which faded off within a couple of years. I put getting new nipples tattooed off for many years. With lots of prompting from my husband I finally decided to do it. I found Shade Tattoo online and was not disappointed. Alissa is very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She did an awesome job. My husband was there with me for both appointments. I was very satisfied with her work. Saying my husband was happy with the outcome is an understatement…. His smile said it all. He also stated “they look very pinchable” hahaha. I would definitely recommend Shade tattoo Studio!

Alyssa is so talented and professional. She did a medical tattoo for me and then reworked a large coverup piece when many others had turned me down. She did a phenomenal job and turned something I was regretting into something that I’m so excited about.

The artistic creativity and work of Alissa speaks for itself. I spent one consult appointment and three 3+ hour sessions with Alissa for my fourth tattoo, and she was top notch. Extremely creative. Artistic. Professional. Personable. It was evident that art and my desired end result was her objective. If you are looking for hurry in, hurry out, non individualistic work, she is not for you. She was interested in my desires/wants, and took the necessary time to make it all work out to my satisfaction. She took the time to design what I wanted after giving some guidance and photos and images, and was willing to go back to the drawing board when needed. Thank you Alissa. Alissa is super super talented! She makes you feel comfortable and is very helpful with her professional opinions! She’s got a light hand, which makes the experience great as well. I have gotten 2 tattoos from her(SO FAR) and they are by far my favorite. Her studio is one of the things I love too cause you feel very safe and unexposed when getting a more Scandalous tattoo. I’m currently getting tattooed in her office and I’m blown away!!! Alissa is incredibly friendly and laid back to work with. I love that the office is quiet and small, which makes it feel really professional and like you are the most important client. She created my piece after looking at a Pinterest board I created and it was a perfect collage of my favorites! Her technique is beautiful and flawless. I love that she is willing to do exactly what you want at any given moment and her lines are SO CLEAN! I’m not going anywhere else EVER AGAIN!!!

Alissa is awesome! From her designs to her color choices (all of which are beautiful) I have been very happy both times I’ve gotten tattoos from her. She is very friendly and I also love the privacy of her studio. She is great at making customers feel at ease before, during, and after tattooing. I very highly recommend her!

Alissa is an absolutely amazing person and artist! Extremely talented and professional. I’ve had two custom pieces done by her and plan to get more. She takes the time to listen to your feedback and will not start tattooing until you’re 100% happy with the sketch and placement. Couldn’t give any higher of a recommendation!

Superb talent, impressive professionalism, phenomenal communication. I visited Alissa thanks to a friend’s recommendation. I had a small tattoo (from another artist) on my arm that I was hoping to cover up with a new design. Alissa met with me for an hour consultation a few months in advance of the actual tattoo appointment to discuss the design and placement of the new tattoo. She immediately put me at ease with her warm personality and well-earned confidence in her own abilities. She asked for examples of tattoos I love and tattoo artists whose work I admire. I was still a bit undecided about what exactly I was looking for, but Alissa was very patient and asked exactly the right questions to help me focus my vision for the design. The week before my appointment, she sent me her initial drawing, which she presented on its own and photoshopped onto my arm so I could get a sense of its size & position and see how it would cover up the original tattoo. The design was lovely, but I had a few revision requests that I didn’t quite know how to articulate. When Alissa sent the revised design, it was as if she’d read my mind: it was perfect. I was very nervous on the day of my appointment, but Alissa was as patient and soothing as ever. For the next three hours, she remained friendly and engaged even as she focused on my tattoo, checking in on me now and then to see if I needed a break. In the end, the final tattoo was even more gorgeous than the design she’d sent me. I am proud to display her beautiful work on my arm, and so grateful to have the wonderful memory of receiving it. Alissa is so talented and has such a good eye for beauty. She knows exactly where to place your tattoo so that it frames your body well and makes you feel confident with it every day. She is an extremely kind person who cares so much about the people she works with. Alissa is the best in the business. She’s done two of my tattoos and I don’t think I go a single day without someone complementing one of them :)
