Sam was incredibly professional and kind while piercing my nipples this morning. She was careful to be sure I was comfortable, and explained everything thoroughly as she cleaned, and marked the location of my piercings. She was steady and careful as she talked me through the piercing process. She was so easy to talk to and I will definitely be returning to her for all my piercings in the future :)
Beyond Sam being wonderful, Proper Pokes atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendly staff are reassuring and professional. I always feel at ease and comfortable whenever I get to go.

I was really impressed by my recent experience at Proper Pokes. I have never been pierced before and decided it was time. Setting up an appointment was easy enough to do online. The store was clean and the desk attendant was friendly. I chose Matt as my piercer and he was professional and friendly. Because of Matt's 18+ years of experience I had a lot of confidence. Matt did a great job piercing my septum and the price was very reasonable. 10/10 would get pierced again.

Came to get my daughter a set of second piercings on her lobes for her birthday... the staff were so polite I easily booked an appt online. Sam did her piercings and was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. We have no luck with the piercing guns and mall kiosks so I decided it's better off going to the pros. We are very pleased with the results!

Ive been here twice for helix and lobe piercings. I have been pierced by both Sam and Matt and they were both great! The receptionist is also very nice. Would definitely recommend, wish I found them before my earlier piercings!

I got my lobes pierced today by Matt and he was so wonderful to me. I messed up my appointment time & he was so flexible with me. Super thorough with cleaning and walking me through the piercings too. I even asked last minute if he could change out my nose piercing & he took care of it. 10/10 recommend & will be back!

Proper pokes is super professional and clean. I had a nose piercing botched at a previous shop and was nervous the gentleman piercing my nose reassured me and talked through everything. Not only was the entire shop clean and professional but the staff are very polite and caring. This shop is entirely out of way but will be my go to whenever I need a piercing.

I came in to get my tragus earring replaced. I lost the earring after surgery and needed a new one. The online booking for an appointment was great, and they got me in and out in just a few minutes. Not to mention they were very reasonably priced and friendly!

My child has previously had their lobes pierced and a now their helix double pierced all thanks to Matt. Every time we have gone in the staff was great and Matt has been nothing but professional. Also, we haven’t had any problems with the piercings.
